I bought it for combing my hair. It does the job, but you need to get used to it. I'm used to doing it with a regular massage brush. When combing, it can create knots when untangling the length of a strand. Maybe I just don't know how to do it with this kind of brush. If you brush it against the scalp, you can feel the sharp teeth.
