I purchased this product based on reviews and the identical notes it contains as a replacement for Montale Powder Flowers, which is strangely unavailable in a normal size anywhere. However, Teint de Neige captivated me from the very first moment. It feels as though all my favorite notes were taken from all my beloved perfumes and poured into this little bottle.
As for toilet water, the longevity is excellent. Regarding the scent, it combines soap, cream, powder, and lipstick - all in one, creating a fragrance of cosmetic care and cleanliness! Personally, I really liked it! I will happily buy more. Thank you, Makeup, for the opportunity to purchase uncommon scents not widely available in the market, and for your friendly customer service!
Thank you very much, Tiffany. Yes, you are right, everything you described is on my bottle, the concentration I bought is eau de toilette. You have reassured me a lot, and the fragrance has settled - it's probably a good thing, it needs more time to "settle" on the skin. By the way, I wanted to write to you that there is a new shipment of fragrances from this brand here since yesterday, but I decided that on that other website they would definitely be offended by me... It's a wonderful fragrance, now it's among my favorites along with Dior Addict Eau de Parfum, the non-updated version, although I can't say anything bad about the updated one, maybe it's just a matter of habit. And I have become much more loyal to Yerbamatte, it really needs time to fully develop. Surprisingly, I have become attached to Oscar de la Renta, especially during winter, it blooms in a special way - even more delicate, even more powdery :). Thank you, Make up, for leaving my question-letter and for the consistent quality of your products and service.
Nataliia, I don't even know how to dispel your doubts. I bought my 50ml here, I also bought samples here and in the store where you did. There are no differences at all, neither with the boxes nor with the bottles. In the sample of this fragrance, there is less than half left and the color of the liquid is considerably darker than in the bottle. There is no number on the box, only on the bottle L178309. The number on the bottom of the bottle is printed in black font, and on the actual bottom, the inscription "Lorenzo Villoresi Firenze" is embossed on the glass. If all of this is present, it means it is not a fake. No one would counterfeit such an engraving. I no longer have the old bottle, nor the 100ml one, so I have nothing to compare the color with, only the 50ml and the sample. The liquid in the sample is dark yellow, while in the 50ml it is very light. The cap on mine is not too tight either. I think the color may differ slightly; in larger bottles, the liquid may simply appear lighter due to the larger volume. But the most important thing is the smell. If there are no differences in longevity and scent, then everything is fine. Niche fragrances change their color over time; the liquid darkens slightly because all the essences used are natural. By the way, is your 100ml bottle an Eau de Toilette or an Eau de Parfum?
Tiffany, I have a practical question for you as a big fan of this fragrance. Maybe someone who also uses fragrances from this brand can help me. Can the color of the liquid itself vary for this fragrance in different packaging? Recently, I was enticed by the 100ml bottle (from a different place, not here) and bought it. The fragrance, as it turned out later, was opened, although it was sealed skillfully. If it weren't for the oval sticker that came off too easily and the traces of tape on the transparent packaging under that sticker, I would have never guessed. Additionally, it was opened from the bottom, which the sealer clearly did not anticipate. The fragrance itself seems to be the same, the sprayer looks normal, and even the cap was airtight. Compared to the Yerbamatte 100ml fragrance that I bought here (without any problems), it seems to have slightly less content, but it's minimal, within the thickness of the bottle wall. However, the color of the fragrance itself is noticeably lighter than the 50ml bottle that I also bought here (also without any problems). I couldn't find the number printed on the bottle anywhere on the packaging to compare if this is normal for this brand. I threw away all the packaging from previous purchases. The cap of the bottle was too loose on the sprayer, but I switched them with the 50ml bottle, and now both seem fine. I decided not to return the fragrance because, firstly, they were out of stock for the 100ml bottle at that time, and there was no information about it being restocked quickly. Secondly, I had already sprayed a couple of times from it. Now I see that the 100ml bottle is available again, and I regret not being firm and exchanging it. Please, make-up, do not delete this comment. When buying from you, I have never encountered such a situation, and if you had the 100ml bottle of my favorite fragrance, I wouldn't have looked for it elsewhere. I just want to understand the situation for the future. Niche fragrances can theoretically have slight variations in certain aspects.
This fragrance is my main antidepressant! Just for the sake of experimentation, I conducted a study and applied it when I was not in the mood;), and within five minutes, my bad mood disappeared. This is thanks to ylang-ylang and tonka bean, as their scents magically affect me. I often use ylang-ylang and vanilla essential oils in an aroma lamp. In general, Snow Color turned out to be the most cheerful fragrance in my collection. I now apply it as a cloud, not spraying it on myself. And when I step out of the cloud, I immediately feel like running and "powdering" the brains of everyone around me;)). I always notice how much people around me like this fragrance, which gives me more confidence in myself ;) and lifts my mood greatly!
I am so grateful for this scent! It's simply amazing! Magnificent, unique, long-lasting, and with a beautiful trail. It reminds me of cotton candy. I find myself constantly going to the bottle just to inhale its fragrance. It's a revelation for me. I would love to try other perfumes from this brand, but unfortunately, I don't know where I can test them.
I purchased this fragrance based on Tiffany's recommendation on another website. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The scent is truly amazing - a fluffy, warm, delicate sugar cloud. Paradoxically, it is not overly sweet. I cannot detect any rose, and it is equally difficult to distinguish other components. For me, the sugar takes center stage. I never thought that sugar could have its representation in perfumes. It truly reminds me of winter, not in terms of coldness, but of cozy tranquility. It reminds me of dry, sparkling snow on a frosty day, a warm, oversized scarf, fragrant cookies with sugary icing, and definitely with sugar pearls. Shimmering ones. The name, in my opinion, is very fitting. I am glad that I obediently followed Tiffany's advice and bought it without testing it (there was no opportunity to test it, after all), thank you. I also want to mention the beautiful bottle. Compared to fragrances where the manufacturers focus more on the aesthetics and uniqueness of the packaging, rather than niche perfumery brands, the Teint De Neige bottle looks very noble. Thank you, store. Furthermore, I was not expecting such a generous gift with my purchase :). It is delightful. I will definitely come back.
I thought I wouldn't be able to use them in the summer heat. But I definitely can! They sound different in the summer, by the way, not as loud as in winter or cool weather. Maybe their volume depends on body temperature, not just air temperature. But their sillage is still undeniable, they trail behind me so strongly that I can be found by the scent. Right now, in the summer, rose and tonka beans dominate more, it's the same vanilla but in a lighter version.
The dominant notes in this perfume are ylang-ylang and rose. I can also detect a hint of vanilla essential oil, even though it's not mentioned in the fragrance pyramid. It's not my cup of tea though, as the powdery scent is a bit overpowering and doesn't blend well. I prefer Alamut more.
Thank you! We highly recommend this fragrance to anyone who loves powdery scents. You won't regret it. I purchased it on Makeup, and the quality is really good, and the longevity is amazing.
Yana, I'm sorry for not writing in Ukrainian ;) I don't know anything similar to this fragrance, there are powdery ones, but they are slightly powdery compared to Teint de Neige. In general, all powdery fragrances are so different, depending on which flower is powdered. If it's violet, then it's Tom Ford Violet Blonde; if it's iris, then it's Prada D'Iris, Chanel 19 Poudre; if it's rose, then it's Chloe by Chloe, Chloe Love, Chloe Intense. There's also Jovoy Poudre, but I'm not thrilled about it, it's too sweet for me. There's also an Italian powder ;) Profumi del Forte "By Night White," it's probably the closest one. The most well-known powdery ones, like Shalimar and Insolence, you probably know and have. But I will repeat again that the most powdery ones are still Teint de Neige, they are properly powdery, they don't have that old powder mustiness, and most importantly, they know how to play on the skin, they play very beautifully. In my first review, I forgot to mention another application method, not spraying directly on yourself, but entering a cloud of fragrance together with your hair, so we spray upwards and then go crazy around everyone;)))
The fragrance is simply a wonderful and exceptionally beautiful scent. I completely agree with Tiffany. You mentioned powdery scents, and I also love them. Could you recommend something similar to this fragrance or any other powdery scent? I collect them as well.
Powder, powder, powder! Oh, it's so amazing, sweet, jasmine-ylang-ylang mixed with musk and vanilla, it even tickles my nose with its dryness. I've been hooked on powdery scents for a long time, but this one is so special that it can't be compared to any other powdery fragrance. It's incredibly long-lasting and has a strong sillage, a real heavy artillery for those around you, so you need to be very careful with the dosage. It has a particularly magnetic effect on men, sometimes it even makes me feel awkward. This fragrance needs space, fresh air, in a small room it will kill everything alive around, including you. But on a fresh frosty breeze or in the coolness of summer, it reveals itself so beautifully and uniquely. I only apply one spritz and as far away from my nose as possible, on the nape of my neck or shoulder, in summer on the inner side of my knees, I never put it on my décolleté or neck or wrists, it's just too long-lasting and loud. The name translates to "Snow Color", but I don't associate this fragrance with snow, I don't consider it wintry either. Its longevity is phenomenal, it stays on clothes for weeks, it lingers on the skin even after showering, the whole bed smells of it until it's washed. Yesterday, I bought another bottle, despite its powerful strength, I never get tired of it. I adore Snow Color, such a unique fragrance!
I bought it as a gift for my sister. At first, I didn't really like the scent, it seemed very strong! I had read a lot about it because I am a big fan of powdery fragrances. When I tested it by spraying it on my wrist, it wasn't that great... and that was it! But then, something happened!!!! It was amazing!!! The watch and the strap on my hand absorbed this WONDERful scent, and what can I say, I fell in love) It becomes beautiful when it settles and disperses a little, that's when you get the powdery effect! The lasting power is simply incredible!!! The strap still smells after probably two weeks, and it's not overpowering like they say. In short, I ordered one for myself too)))
The scent is classy, and the bottle is beautifully designed. It has a unique fragrance that lingers in the car, making anyone who enters instantly fall in love with the aroma. I adore it and wish that the brand would release more products. The scent is quite expensive, and I would even say it smells like an expensive perfume for women.
