  • The GLUTEN'ALARM® test offers lab-level accuracy in real-time results (15 minutes) from the comfort of your home.

Coeliac disease (a visceral condition) is an autoimmune disorder with a genetic basis that affects both children and adults. It is caused by gluten intolerance—its presence in food triggers an immune response that damages the villi in the small intestine, leading to impaired nutrient absorption.

In cases of gluten intolerance, specific IgA antibodies against tTG are produced. Therefore, the first method for diagnosing coeliac disease is a highly effective test for gluten intolerance using whole blood. This test detects IgA antibodies against tissue transglutaminase (tTG).

REMEMBER! Undiagnosed coeliac disease can result in intestinal damage, nutrient deficiencies, and neurological disorders.

This increases the risk of autoimmune diseases and cancer.

In cases of gluten intolerance, specific IgA antibodies against tTG are produced. GLUTEN'ALARM® enables the detection of these specific antibodies, thereby indicating gluten intolerance. The sensitivity of GLUTEN'ALARM® is 10 U/ml.

  • The testing procedure always begins with proper preparation. Place the contents of the box on a clean, dry, and flat surface (such as a table), then:

Thoroughly wash your hands with soap, rinse under clean running water, and dry them.

Carefully tear open the aluminum packet along the edge, then remove the test strip and plastic pipette. Place them on a flat surface within reach. Discard the desiccant packet.

Prepare the lancing device. Twist the gray cap until you feel it detach from the device—do not pull! Continue twisting (2–3 turns), then remove and discard the cap. Do not touch the release button!

Disinfect the selected fingertip and massage it for 10–15 seconds towards the tip to improve blood circulation.

Firmly press the lancet against the disinfected fingertip and press the lancet release button.

The lancet tip retracts automatically, ensuring safety after use.

Gently massage the pricked fingertip to obtain blood droplets.

Without squeezing the pipette, bring its tip close to the blood droplet. The blood will migrate up the capillary tube to the marked line on the pipette. You may massage to obtain another drop of blood if the line on the pipette is not reached. Avoid getting air bubbles in the pipette if possible.

Transfer the collected blood into the sample well on the test strip by squeezing the pipette tip.

Wait 30–40 seconds until all the blood is in the sample well.

Unscrew the blue cap and add 4 drops of the diluent into the sample well, pausing 2–3 seconds between each drop. Hold the diluent vertically.

Read the test result after 15 minutes. Do not interpret the test result after 20 minutes.
