  • How to use
  • The CRP-Screen Home Blood Test is a safe medical device designed for the quick and easy determination of C-reactive protein concentration in blood drawn from a fingertip. This test helps identify the presence of bacterial or viral infections in the body. It is recommended for use when symptoms of infection appear, such as fever, pharyngitis, chills, headache, or fatigue. The CRP-Screen test delivers results swiftly, with test strips indicating the outcome in just 5 minutes. The test result remains valid for up to 7 minutes after the solution is added. The CRP-Screen Home Blood Test should always be interpreted according to the instructions included in the package.

  • Wash your hands with soap and rinse them under clean running water.

Tear open the edge of the aluminum packet, then remove the test strip and the plastic pipette.

Unscrew the dropper bottle containing the diluent. Press the small orange button until you hear a click, indicating that the device is activated.

Remove the orange part by turning it clockwise or counterclockwise.

Disinfect the pad of your middle or index finger.

Massage the selected fingertip to increase blood circulation.

Firmly press the lancet against the disinfected part of the fingertip so that it directly contacts the skin.

Press the lancet release button. The lancet tip will automatically retract, ensuring safety after use.

Gently massage the pricked fingertip to obtain drops of blood.

Without squeezing the pipette, bring its tip close to the drop of blood. The blood will naturally move up the capillary to the marked line on the pipette. Try to avoid getting air bubbles in the pipette.

Transfer the collected blood from the pipette into the open bottle with the diluent, ensuring all the collected blood enters the bottle. Then, screw on the dropper cap and mix well. Break off the tip of the pipette containing the blood sample, then add 4 drops of the diluted blood sample into the sample well.

Read the test result after 5 minutes.

Do not interpret the test result after 10 minutes.
