Prepare the nail plate for applying polygel by buffing it, removing any oils, and applying a non-acid primer. Use a flat brush to shape the nails to the desired form and length, making sure to dampen the brush with a cleanser. Cure under a UV lamp for 60 seconds. If necessary, file the nails to refine the shape. Remove any sticky residue. Apply a finishing coat and cure under the UV lamp for another 60 seconds. Finally, cover the nail plate with a top coat.
