The Bois De Rose Care Soap primarily functions as a restorative cleansing agent, combining the soothing and rehydrating power of sweet almond with the anti-swelling properties of rice bran oil, which is rich in trace elements and unsaponifiables. It also acts as a skin stimulator due to its toning and calming essential oils, as well as the presence of red clay, known to enhance blood circulation and thereby nourish the epidermis. Shea butter complements the formula and enriches the plant-based glycerin, which the skin can absorb to nourish itself and renew its lipid barrier. The treatment begins with the shower, not after, and is particularly recommended for combating the tightness and irritation of dry skin or for alleviating the effects of skin aging. The Bois De Rose Care Soap provides a very pleasant lather, softened by red clay, which acts like a smooth and supple shower cream. Its fragrance, composed exclusively of soothing essential oils, stimulates cell regeneration.

Of course, there's nothing simpler than lathering up, as we've done since time immemorial. However, reality is that every detail, from setting the water temperature to drying your skin and choosing the right soap, matters! Here are some usage tips:
1. Prepare your skin by wetting it with water at a comfortable temperature, but not too hot. High temperatures can increase skin irritation and tingling. After showering, higher water evaporation from the skin's surface can lead to immediate dehydration.
2. Wet the Oppidum soap and rub it directly onto your skin. Focus on key areas where you'll be applying the soap: hands, chest, shoulders, lower back, thighs, and calves.
3. Lather the soap with your hands on your skin and spread it all over your body. Skin to skin: lathering should be done as gently as possible, without rubbing or irritation that textile fibers might cause.
4. Leave the soap on your skin for a few seconds. This prolongs its cleansing effect and increases the absorption of the soap's natural glycerin by your skin. This is where the rehydrating and restorative care begins.
5. Rinse with clean water, not too hot. Again, excessively high temperatures will diminish the care provided by your soap: it will disrupt the production of sebum necessary for skin hydration and cause excessive moisture evaporation from your skin.
6. Dry your skin by gently patting it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid vigorous rubbing or scratching your skin with textile fibers: excessive friction removes the lipid film left by the soap on your skin. This is especially important in winter, when temperature contrasts can heighten skin sensitivity.
