The Kérastase Premier Fondant Fluidité Reparateur is a decalcifying conditioner designed for the repair and softening of all types of damaged hair.
Kérastase has identified the cause of hair damage – with each contact with water, calcium accumulates and penetrates between the keratin structures, breaking their bonds and making the hair more brittle and rigid from the inside. Externally, calcium builds up on the hair surface, leading to a loss of shine and smoothness. Moreover, due to its porosity, damaged hair can absorb up to 3 times more calcium from running water (compared to undamaged hair), leading to further calcium accumulation.

The Premier range, with its dual action, is enriched with an effective 8% Citric Acid + Glycine Complex, as well as Peptides.
For decalcification, Citric Acid works on the surface and also penetrates inside the hair, helping to eliminate calcium build-up - to counteract the loss of shine and smoothness in hair. Once the calcium build-up is removed, Glycine penetrates the hair to repair the damaged keratin bonds – reducing brittleness. As a reinforcement ingredient, Peptides help to fill and seal the hair cuticle - for strengthening the surface, hydration, and shine.
