To start, remove any old polish from your natural nails using an acetone-based remover. Trim your natural nails, then use a wooden stick to gently push back the cuticles and remove the thin film (pterygium) underneath. Next, lightly buff the surface of your nails with a soft buffer until they achieve a matte finish.
