Osmanthus Eau de Parfum has joined the Les Eléments collection, delving into the depths hidden within the world of perfume raw materials, born in Grasse.
"Grasse is the birthplace of perfumery, becoming a source of inspiration for the creation of our house's first floral fragrances," — Molinard
If one looks at the moon through the eyes of Chinese storytellers, one can see a refined lunar palace, guarded at its entrance by a vast osmanthus tree that cannot be felled: no matter how many branches are chopped off – it only grows stronger, taller, and more lush.
This osmanthus is so magnificent that on warm, full moon nights, its pollen falls to the earth, bringing the sweet fragrance of the heavens.
In the lunar palace, under the protection of the osmanthus, lives the hardworking and virtuous Moon Rabbit: day and night, he grinds in his mortar the potion that bestows immortality, the essential ingredients of which are the flowers and pollen of the osmanthus...
Osmanthus is known as the flower of the rising sun. The flowers of osmanthus emit a sweet, fruity, slightly leathery scent. In this new composition, named after the flower, Molinard's perfumers have presented it surrounded by intoxicating floral notes of jasmine and tuberose, adorned with a velvety duo of iris and apricot.
The debut of this new fragrance is a citrus symphony, seasoned with the classic spiciness of bay leaf. The heart is that very osmanthus with enchanting facets of jasmine and tuberose. A fruity-powdery-musky base concludes the narrative.
