The Sport Menstrual Cup from the MeLuna brand is the choice for active women seeking reliable, leak-proof protection during their menstrual days. The Sport Cup easily copes with the strong pressure of surrounding muscles and remains airtight during intense physical activity, where other, softer alternatives may fail and leak. The size L is suitable for women who use large tampons (and change them frequently), have heavy menstruations, have given birth, or have weakened pelvic floor muscles. With this menstrual cup, you get reliable protection and a sense of comfort even during the most active moments of your life.
Features of the MeLuna Sport Menstrual Cup L:
- the strongest menstrual cup of the brand (25% stronger than MeLuna Classic);
- flexible, ensuring it unfolds even under strong muscle pressure;
- does not sit vertically in the body: during menstruation, the cervix can protrude into the cup, so you may not be able to use the full volume, but it should serve as a benchmark for other menstrual cups;
- has dimensions: maximum diameter - 44 mm, length without handle - 51 mm, total cup capacity - 34 ml;
- designed for women who engage in very active sports (yoga, horseback riding, Pilates, Kegel exercises, martial arts, pole dancing, etc.).-
Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap. Fold the cup. There are different methods for insertion – you can try various ones to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, it will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the bottom of the cup – when inserted properly, it should be round or oval. If you feel dents or irregularities on the surface, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Gently tug on the stem: if you feel resistance, the suction has occurred and the cup is successfully in place!
