Founded in the distant 4th century BC by Alexander the Great, the city of Alexandria in Egypt continues to thrive, inspiring awe and wonder among tourists fortunate enough to witness its majestic beauty. In 2012, the virtuoso perfumer Chris Morris, inspired by the city's captivating atmosphere, acquired a priceless quarter-century-aged oud oil from a small shop. Using this as a base, he created a unique collection of perfumery masterpieces with a mystical Oriental character and distinctive Italian chic, the Oud Star for the Xerjoff brand.
