Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods — try a few to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction sound or "pop," indicating it has been correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup — it should be round or oval. If you notice any dents, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to ensure a proper seal. Then, gently pull on the stem. If you feel resistance, the cup has been successfully installed.
