Wash your hands before using the Ziggy Cup. Before the first use, immerse the cup in boiling water for 5–8 minutes. Pinch the rim with your thumb and index finger to form a figure-eight shape. First, press the rear edge firmly inward so that it is positioned behind the cervix. Tuck the front edge behind the pubic bone. You can wear the cup for up to 8 hours and should empty it 2-3 times a day. To remove, hook a finger around the front part of the rim and gently slide it out. Pour the contents into the toilet, wash the cup, and reinsert it.
