Cranberry Hydrolate Yuka Hydrolat Granberry

I bought this hydrolat as a replacement for my toner, but unfortunately it didn't do the job. It's nice to use occasionally for refreshing the skin, but it doesn't provide enough toning. Plus, I bought a bottle for 70 UAH and now it's three times more expensive - well, that's a bit much for a hydrolat.

The hydrolat is fantastic. I really liked it. It has a scent of cranberries, and its consistency is similar to regular water. However, my skin somehow transforms with it - it becomes brighter and more elastic. Even the people around me noticed that I somehow look refreshed.

After reading the comments, I was confident about the pleasant scent of this product. However, I couldn't detect any scent at all, it just smells like regular water. Additionally, I haven't seen any noticeable effects from using this water. Maybe the scent evaporated somehow, I'm not sure.

I really liked the hydrolat. It has a pleasant scent and the packaging was a pleasant surprise. The bottle is made of dark glass, which feels nice to hold in the hands, unlike the plastic bottles used by other manufacturers.

I use hydrolat instead of toner. It works wonders on my combination sensitive and oily-prone skin that I simply can't go back to my toners, nor do I want to. Before, after cleansing and subsequent skincare routines, my face would quickly become shiny, sometimes itchy, and develop redness in certain areas. With this hydrolat, my skin is even-toned, without excessive oiliness and irritation. It dries out my skin just enough so that there is no greasy feeling after applying moisturizer. Perfect.

I chose this hydrolat because of the wonderful skincare properties of cranberry, and also because I simply love cranberries :) I have only been using it for a few days, so it's too early to talk about any cumulative effect that should, in theory, manifest over time. But even at this stage, I am satisfied. Firstly, I adore the aesthetic pleasure from the design, the jar itself, and the matte lid, although I still prefer to spray it on my face, so I used my own sprayer. Secondly, the scent. It is beautiful! It smells like fresh cranberry juice, light and very pleasant. I can't say anything about the longevity of the scent. Unfortunately, I can only smell it for a short time, but it could either be because I really like it or because it is volatile. As for immediate effects, the matte finish on the skin is amazing, and there is no sensation that you have applied anything to the skin, meaning the feeling of clean and breathable skin after washing is preserved. In terms of moisturizing, I liked this hydrolat much more than the rose and strawberry hydrolats from two other brands (I am 35, with dry skin, but not excessively so). Perhaps it will work well on humid summer days. I will continue testing it. Yuka, Makeup, thank you!
