In today's fast-paced world, we are compelled to simplify many of our daily rituals that are performed with remarkable regularity by everyone. For instance, most people have grown accustomed to using synthetic cleansing products while showering, as they come with bright chemical scents and produce a pleasing lather that wraps around the body. However, we often overlook the fact that such hygiene products can negatively impact the epidermis by drying it out and thinning its protective lipid barrier.
The popular Ukrainian natural cosmetics brand, Triuga Herbal, offers an eco-friendly alternative to conventional shower gels or creams with its organic soap nuts. These soap nuts serve as a safe alternative to synthetic surfactants. When their shells are dissolved in warm water, they release the enzyme saponin, which forms a soft foam that washes away all impurities and destroys pathogenic bacteria. Moreover, these nuts do not dry out the skin; on the contrary, they intensively nourish and moisturize it. They are suitable for individuals with sensitive skin, prone to allergic reactions, and can also be used for bathing children.
Useless purchase, they don't lather, and they don't clean properly. Zero effect, I expected more from them.
I had these for a long time, and finally decided to use them. I made a decoction for my hair. It got into my eyes. And then... It all went horribly wrong. It burned and stung like glass in my eyes. I couldn't open my eyes, and rinsing didn't help. I made tea compresses and used eye drops. The pain was terrible. I thought I would go blind and that blood would come out of my eyes. It only started getting better after 1-2 hours. But the tearing remained and there was some kind of film in my eyes periodically. I couldn't imagine that soap nuts could cause such a reaction. When soap gets in your eyes, it stings, but this was a disaster. This should be warned about, especially since they recommend it for children as natural and safe.
I occasionally use it as an alternative to shampoo. It cleanses the hair well, but it tends to dry it out a bit. The process is time-consuming. I rate it 4 stars because the last package I received had cracked nuts.
Crushed soap nuts are very inconvenient to use. Previously, I had nuts from a different manufacturer in a linen bag, and they were whole, making it easy to count and use them.
I bought these soap nuts for washing my newborn grandson's clothes. They did an excellent job. No allergies whatsoever. Absolutely safe. I myself am an allergy sufferer with a lot of experience. I learned about soap nuts many years ago. Now they are a lifesaver for me! However, there is one drawback... They do not whiten clothes or remove stains. Therefore, a person must choose what they need: cleanliness and hypoallergenic properties or whiteness, which chemical bleaches can provide.
I used these pots for my baby's milk items. It effectively removes light stains, rinses well, and does not cause any allergies.
