Thermal Protective Smoothing Serum for Long, Unruly Hair L'Oreal Paris Elseve Dream Long Frizz Killer Serum

I have purchased this product before, and I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. I really liked it, it made my hair look great, and it has a pleasant scent.

There are some advantages to this product - it is cost-effective and has a pleasant smell. Personally, from my experience using this product, I bought it specifically to nourish my dry ends, but I didn't notice any results at all, neither immediately nor over time. It had zero effect. I do not recommend it.

I've written about two product reviews in my life, but I can't stay silent about this one. Oh my god, it's a nightmare. Probably the worst product I've ever had. My hair is as dry as straw, even applying soap would have been better. I thought of using it as a hair oil, since I like this brand's range, but this serum is simply awful. There's nothing worth giving it even one star for. I tried it on dry hair, like an oil, and I also tried it on wet hair, as a heat protectant - it was equally disastrous in both cases. Straight to the trash it went. My hair looks horrible after using it.

It nourishes and feeds the hair, leaving it smelling wonderful and shiny after application. You don't need to apply a lot, which makes it economical. I don't understand why I didn't use heat protection earlier.

This is terrible. I tried it on wet hair, and it made my hair dry and tangled. I also tried it on dry, brushed hair, and it was still tangled in the morning. Straight into the trash it goes.

The serum is not bad, but you need to get used to it, otherwise your hair will become dry.

I have long hair, down to my waist, slightly wavy and porous. I tried using the whole line with the same shampoo and conditioner, but also with another brand, and the results were good in both cases.

I apply the serum on damp, brushed hair, rub it in my palms, and run my hands through my hair from the roots to the ends, but I don't apply it on the tips, otherwise they will become very dry. I apply hair oil on the tips instead.

After drying, my hair really becomes straight and soft, I don't even need to straighten it with a flat iron.

Neither here nor there, if you apply too much of it, your hair will appear greasy and unattractive. It has an unpleasant smell, like an annoying hair product, and feels sticky on the hands (very unpleasant). I can't say whether it works well as a heat protectant or not. In general, I will not buy it again.

I really liked this product, especially the effect of the damaged hair cream from the same line. It had a wow effect, similar to after getting a lamination treatment. The scent is amazing, like sweet candy. I highly recommend it.

I didn't notice any effect at all, rather it dries out my hair instead of the opposite. I have natural hair. But the scent in this line is superb.

This is an excellent heat protectant, and I'm purchasing it for the second time. It leaves my hair smelling really nice too.

I really liked it, it has a pleasant smell. My hair is long, down to my buttocks. Two pumps are enough. Because I took more and it made my hair clump together.

My hair gets very tangled, but it has become easier to comb with this product. However, I prefer the Gliss Split Hair Miracle Express Conditioner for detangling. It works better for tangled hair.

As for this one, I mainly use it as a heat protectant.

I purchased this product in a retail store, thinking it would be a hair oil or silicone mixture that would make my hair soft. Unfortunately, that's not the case. My hair is exactly what is described on the packaging. It is long, reaches below my hips, frizzes easily, and feels a bit dry at the ends. This is not the most pleasant substance, it's sticky, and maybe that's how it works by "gluing" the hair cuticles together. For me, the result is too mediocre and it also requires a lot of product. I will definitely go back to my favorite products.

The dry blond ends up being ideal, reaching just below the shoulder blades. I use it after washing my hair, applying 3 drops to the ends and halfway up the hair. The hands are slightly sticky, but it can easily be wiped off with a towel or tissue. Overall, the impression is pleasant. After the first wash, the hair was stiff, but after using this serum for the second and subsequent times, it began to soften. The exact number of drops needed can be determined through trial and error.

Overall, I use the entire range of products. The shampoo, the 8-second water, the conditioner/mask (with the same ingredients, so it's more for the soul, which I like), and I apply this serum to damp (after towel-drying) hair (two pumps on the elongated square). All together, they give an amazing effect of soft, shiny hair. I'm not sure about damage, as my hair is healthy, and I want it to remain that way.

A great find for curly hair, with no silicones in the formula. It feels sticky like honey on your hands, but not on your hair.

This adhesive is sticky, but it didn't work for me. There was no thermal protection effect. I won't be buying it again.

Personally, this serum worked well for me. My hair is smooth and not dry. The serum does not weigh down my hair. The only drawback is that after using the product, my hands do feel sticky, but it doesn't make my hair sticky, on the contrary, it feels loose. It also functions well as a heat protectant. (If I apply the serum to my hand and blow hot air onto it, I feel a cooling sensation.)

I apply it to wet hair, literally after 10 minutes wrapped in a towel - from roots to waist-length hair, uncolored with dry ends - I need 4 pumps - I distribute it to the bottom third of my hair and let it dry. The dry ends are not visible and the hair does not become static - these effects are sufficient for me.

I don't understand why anyone would find it useful. Silicone mixed with glue, it's just confusing.

It might work on dry hair, but otherwise, it's nothing special.
