EVITEST helps women easily and quickly address the important and intimate task of early pregnancy detection. This product is designed for fast and independent determination of pregnancy from the first day of a missed period. It is an immunochromatographic test for detecting human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine for early pregnancy diagnosis.
Sensitivity: 20 mIU/ml (20 mMO/ml).
Test accuracy is over 99%. It detects pregnancy from the first day of a missed period. Reuse is prohibited.
HOW THE TEST WORKS:
During pregnancy, a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is produced, which can be detected in urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies that specifically react with this hormone. When a urine sample is applied to the test, it moves along the membrane by capillary action. When the hCG in the urine reaches the test area (T), it forms a colored line. The absence of a colored line indicates a negative result. For control purposes, a colored line appears at the control area (C) if the test is performed correctly.
TEST KIT CONTENTS:
The individual package contains 1 test strip and a desiccant. The desiccant is for storage only and is not used in testing.
What else is needed for pregnancy detection? When using the test strip: a dry, clean plastic or glass container for urine collection. A timer or a clock.
WARNINGS AND SAFETY MEASURES:
For external use only, do not ingest.
The test is single-use only. Discard after use.
Do not use after the expiration date.
Do not use if the primary packaging is damaged.
Keep out of reach of children.
STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store at a temperature between 4 and 30°C in the sealed individual package until the expiration date.
Open the primary packaging only immediately before testing.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
Do not freeze.
When to perform the test? The test can be conducted at any time of day, but it is best to test in the morning after waking up, as the highest concentration of hCG in cases of prolonged pregnancy is found in the morning urine.
How to collect a urine sample? Collect the urine sample in a clean, dry plastic or glass container.
-
Keep the test strip and urine sample at room temperature before testing. Open the individual packaging and take out the test strip.
Dip the test strip into the urine sample with the arrows pointing towards the urine. Remove the strip after 3 seconds and place it horizontally on a dry, clean, non-absorbent surface (like the rim of the urine container). A positive result can be observed within 1 minute. However, a negative result may take up to 3 minutes. Any result obtained after 5 minutes should be considered invalid.
HOW TO INTERPRET THE RESULT
Positive (pregnant): Distinct colored lines appear on the control and test areas. This indicates pregnancy. The intensity of the test lines may vary between tests due to different concentrations of HCG at various stages of pregnancy.
Negative (not pregnant): A colored line appears only on the control area. There is no line on the test area (T). This indicates that you are not pregnant.
Invalid test: No visible lines appear, or a line appears only on the test area and not on the control area. It is recommended to repeat the test with a new test strip. If the test remains invalid, consult a doctor or contact the pharmacy where you purchased the product, providing the batch number.
If the color on the test area is unclear, it is recommended to repeat the test after 48 hours.
Attention! Consult a gynecologist. The doctor should confirm pregnancy after evaluating all clinical and laboratory data, as certain conditions may lead to a false-positive result. Additionally, the gynecologist will provide necessary information and advice regarding pregnancy.
