In 2002, the Japanese fashion house Comme des Garcons introduced a truly magnificent collection of unisex fragrances named Series 3: Incense. This collection encompasses five scents that bring together the luxurious notes of the mysterious incense.
The fragrance Jaisalmer evokes the feeling of an unforgettable journey to Rajasthan, the largest Indian state, home to the fortified city of Jaisalmer. This city was one of the most important stops on the trade route, widely known as the Silk Road. The composition of the Jaisalmer scent includes incense, which in Jaisalmer was a traditional component of Hindu rituals, symbolizing purification and prayer, similar to its use in Catholicism. Its magical chords, highlighted by refined and noble woody notes, are complemented by spicy spices, a blend of cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, benzoin, guaiac wood, and amber.
