Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods you can try to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval. If you feel any dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully installed!
