Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are various ways to fold it - you may want to try different methods and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly placed. If in doubt, feel the bottom of the cup - when inserted correctly, it should feel round or oval. If you notice any dents or creases on the cup, it means it hasn't fully expanded. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it’s in place, gently tug on the stem. If you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
