Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods you can try, so experiment to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been properly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you notice any dents or creases, the cup hasn't fully opened. Carefully grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once done, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is correctly in place!
