The art of makeup is closely linked to color theory. By understanding how the color wheel works, you can perfectly combine shades as well as master the skills of camouflage. For instance, red is completely neutralized by green. It is for the purpose of reducing redness and camouflaging blemishes that the brand Missha has created the Airy Pot Powder in a light mint shade. It helps conceal imperfections and is suitable for problematic skin. The powder's lightweight texture allows the skin to breathe and prevents clogged pores. Moreover, the product creates an additional protective barrier and helps minimize the impact of the environment.
Features of the Missha Airy Pot Powder:
- Applies evenly on the skin using a brush, puff, or sponge;
- Evens out skin tone and eliminates imperfections;
- Does not create spots or bald patches;
- Extends makeup durability and helps maintain it throughout the day;
- Contains natural extracts that prevent dryness and skin tightness;
- Has a delicate green hue.
I bought this greenish powder with the hope that it would better conceal redness. However, the product turned out to be useless. All it provides is a blurring effect.
The powder has a very delicate mattifying effect. I have tried many other mattifying powders, both loose and compact, but this one stands out. The manufacturer recommends applying it with the included sponge for a blurred effect, but I personally prefer using a dense brush as it applies very well. It takes a minute for the powder to settle and it doesn't make the face look pale like many other similar powders. It does not emphasize dry patches, although it may slightly emphasize severely dry areas.
The best way to apply it is when you have applied a day cream and then a BB cream or foundation, and your skin becomes slightly oily from it. The powder sits perfectly on top of it. Alternatively, you can apply it directly on moisturized skin using a gel or cream. It is easy to layer throughout the day when you need to touch up.
The price is definitely high, but overall, I would definitely repurchase it.
