It cleanses thoroughly, which is a downside because it feels very tight. HOWEVER, you don't need to apply foundation afterwards because it leaves the face matte with an even tone, and that's a big plus. My combination skin, which tends to get oily, does not become greasier throughout the day. It is not very effective at removing waterproof eyeliner, but it works fine for regular makeup. It stings if it gets into the eyes, so be careful! Overall, it's a great foam cleanser worth trying.
