Interesting cream-gel, or whatever it's called. It leaves the skin feeling pleasant and well moisturized. The only downside is the scent... it's very strong.
I am overall satisfied with the cream, as it effectively moisturizes and soothes irritation after using retinol. However, I deduct one star due to its scent - I have almost finished the entire jar, but I still haven't gotten used to the strong (possibly even chemical) smell.
The hypoallergenic cream lasts for six months. I tested it on myself and on my 50+ year old mom. She has allergies to many facial products and can hardly apply anything under her eyes. With this cream, there are no such problems. The texture is very unusual, it stretches and feels slippery. But it moisturizes nicely, a small amount of product (about the size of a pea) is enough, it quickly absorbs into the skin and doesn't leave a film on the face. We used it for oily skin prone to dryness.
35 years old, oily and sensitive skin. I took it as a night cream, 2 samples for a full test, lasted a month on my face and neck. After a week, it became my "favorite" :). I use it on cleansed skin (hydrophilic oil/balm and face soap), after toning (one tonic ran out during the test, a new unsuccessful one was introduced, and I finish with a "toning" mist), on top of serum (tried it with and without). Without serums, it lacks a bit of moisture. The texture of the cream is unusual, stretchy, slippery... and it seems to lose its consistency over time. I transferred both samples into a jar from an old cream (cleaned and dry), and towards the end of the test, the texture was visibly inconsistent. The cream applies/spreads easily, absorbs differently (depending on the serum underneath), and has a slightly sticky finish. It has a noticeable scent, which bothered me a bit in the first few days, but I got used to it. In the morning, when washing my face, there are almost no traces of the cream left - compared to the previous cream, which "stayed" like a night mask and washed off in the morning. After an acid peel (at home), this cream is not enough - it lacks nourishment and moisture, but as a daily cream, it's great. It also doesn't alleviate the situation during dehydration episodes (I experienced dehydration due to an unsuccessful tonic). In my evening skincare routine, I use a peptide serum - it complements it perfectly. In the first three days of use, I noticed a very noticeable lifting effect, without any tightness - my skin just became more elastic and tightened. The pores are in very good condition, no looseness in the skin texture (my skin can appear swollen and loose with unsuccessful skincare). It didn't cause any redness, breakouts, or clogged pores. I don't know how long it will last for me in winter, but it "survived" the August heat and the beginning of September's coolness comfortably. So, for me, this cream is just a perfect addition to my "peptide" evenings on the skin, not requiring emergency moisturization/nourishment.
First impressions are great. You just need to get used to the stickiness, but that's not really a problem. The consistency is very light, perfect for summer. The cream is initially felt on the skin for a minute, and then it leaves a velvety finish. As for the effectiveness, it will become clear after some time. The scent is practically non-existent, and it doesn't smell on the skin at all, which indicates a minimal amount of fragrance. I don't see any downsides after the first use, but we'll see how it goes.
I didn't like it. It feels sticky on the skin and the smell is just average. I definitely won't be buying it again.
Great cream!
It was perfect for my dry and redness-prone skin.
In the morning, my skin looks wonderful after using this cream. Now it's my favorite cream. I highly recommend it.
The cream is not bad. It truly moisturizes. However, it is not suitable for oily or combination skin as it tends to make the skin shiny after some time. It works great as a makeup base (I use it with BB cream). It smoothens out fine and shallow wrinkles. The cream should be absorbed after application, and its stretchy texture is not off-putting. It does not leave any stickiness. The result is actually quite positive.
The cream doesn't moisturize at all. After a week of using it, there were flakes appearing.
Thank you for the makeup.
This cream is lightweight and smooth, just like all snail mucin creams. It absorbs well but leaves a slight stickiness. I only apply it at night. It hydrates the skin well and has a slight brightening effect. It didn't cause any allergies and is non-comedogenic. Overall, it's okay. I prefer the effects of The Skin House more.
This is the best product my skin has ever tried. I have very sensitive skin and often experience inflammation, so not many creams suit me. This one contains snail mucin in its composition, which is why it has such a stretchy texture, but at the same time, my skin feels great. I tried this cream for the first time in America, as it wasn't available in Ukraine. And now I found it on Makeup :)
