Open the bottle. Insert the reed sticks into the aromatic liquid with one end. The liquid will be absorbed and rise up through the tiny vessels inside the sticks due to capillary action. The fragrance will evaporate from the exposed end of the stick. No heating is required for evaporation; it occurs at room temperature. Don't waste your money. The diffuser has a strong chemical smell that is sweet and only lingers in the room where it is placed. Half of the bottle evaporated within 2 days, so I don't think this amount will even last for a whole week. Thank you to Makeupu for the fast delivery, but the money was spent in vain.
