The SC-4 comb is suitable for very short haircuts as well as long curls. It is made from carbon fiber, which accounts for its lightweight. Its teeth are divided into two equal parts - one is denser, while the other is more spaced out. The comb, in black, features rounded top outer corners. Each tooth has a neat tip to avoid scratching the scalp. This helps prevent an increase in the active secretion of sebum by the glands. The SC-4 possesses antibacterial properties. I love Olive Garden, I have many brushes from this company, but I didn't understand this comb :(
My mom takes it in her purse, she's happy with it for short hair. But for my long hair, it seems to damage them if I comb when they're dry, but if they're damp, then it's fine.
I have had a bad experience with Olivia Garden combs :( I ordered two combs from different brands and price ranges in one order. I combed half of my hair with one comb and the other half with the other comb, on clean, dry hair without any styling products. Well, this expensive comb made my hair very static and took away the shine from my hair. The other comb, which was 7 times cheaper, performed much better. I will try using this expensive comb for cutting hair, hoping that it will work for that, but I won't use it to comb dry hair anymore.
I also bought a brush from this brand before, but I couldn't use it because it made my hair static.
Olivia Garden products are made with good quality and look presentable, but they didn't work well for my long, uncolored hair.
