Serum with Snail Mucin, Centella and Prebiotics - Jole Hydro Calm Serum
This product is excellent for post-activity recovery. It is one of the best in the brand.
I really like this serum. It truly feels like a lightweight cream. I have combination skin with signs of rosacea, and in the summer I only apply this serum, as it moisturizes well. It reduces inflammation and rejuvenates the skin. It is one of the best from Jole. It does leave a slight stickiness, but it's not a big issue.
I feel like it lacks a bit of moisture. The skin feels soft after application and doesn't cause any unpleasant sensations. It's more like a cream.
The product has a very gentle and pleasant texture. My skin became sensitive after peels, so I rely on this product. It has a nice scent and a rich composition of serum (active ingredients - Beta-glucan, Centella, Panthenol, Amino acids, Vitamin E). The serum soothes the skin, reduces redness, moisturizes, and reduces sensitivity. I liked it.
It claims to fight inflammation, but I'm not sure if it's just my skin reacting this way (as everyone's skin is different). However, after each application, my skin turned red and even felt a slight burning sensation. Unfortunately, it didn't suit my skin type.
Honestly, I fell in love with this serum from the first use. The texture is quite thick, but it absorbs well into the skin, so there is no sticky finish. It is not very economical to use because of its texture. If you compare it to more liquid serums, you will see that they last longer. Another downside is the inconvenient pipette. The texture is thick, making it difficult to extract the product with the pipette, but I found a way to get the product through trial and error. Despite the negatives, the effectiveness of this serum outweighs them for me. It heals and restores the protective barrier very well. By the way, regarding the product extraction, since I couldn't figure it out myself and looked for solutions in reviews, I will share a tip for those who may also have difficulty getting the product out: if you can only squeeze the tip of the pipette to extract a regular liquid serum, that's not the case here. Try squeezing the entire pipette, and then the product should be drawn in. Maybe this advice is not very necessary, but I wish I had it when I started using the serum. I couldn't manage to get the product out, so I just tried scraping it off from the container it was supposed to be drawn into.
Great serum. I apply it in the morning before makeup, but you only need a small amount. Otherwise, you'll have to wait a little longer than usual for it to fully and effectively absorb.
Good serum for my combination skin, I use it together with hyaluronic acid and snail mucin cream (although the cream is not necessary, as the serum moisturizes on its own).
I have a toner with glycolic acid, which dries out the skin and makes it more sensitive, so this serum has become an essential part of my skincare routine.
At first, the smell was off-putting, but then it calmed my skin and I didn't mind the fragrance anymore. I recommend it.
The serum is clearly effective. A few months ago, I went overboard with actives and ended up with severe dermatitis and sensitive skin afterwards. For a couple of months, I stuck to using only 0.3% retinol and LRP Cicaplast on top, then decided to switch to 0.5% retinol and alternate with gentle acids (all from Jole). I added this serum to my usual sensitive skin routine and my skin didn't even get red once in the past 3 weeks.
The serum for my dehydrated skin has a very high consumption rate, so it's comfortable to use after application. If you apply a smaller amount, it feels insufficient. It doesn't work well under creams from other brands, as it tends to roll off. There was a sample of a restoring lamellar face cream available, and the serum behaves better with it (no rolling effect), everything is fine with it! By the way, the cream is very interesting and comfortable for the skin. Overall, I agree with other reviews: the serum is quite dense (closer to fluids and liquid lotions in consistency), it would be more appropriate to have a pump on the bottle; the dropper is not very effective in this case.
This product provides good moisturization without feeling sticky. Whenever I experience allergic dermatitis, I immediately apply this serum and by morning, everything is resolved. Even in severe cases, the serum definitely reduces the symptoms by 50%. I highly recommend it.
I agree with the comments, this serum for reactive skin is amazing. I would prefer a vacuum packaging, but even without it, I will still purchase it! My skin with rosacea is satisfied. I hope this serum will be available for many years, and your brand will continue to grow.
This is the first serum that effectively addresses the reactivity of my skin, which has been badly damaged by peels :( Jole, if you are reading this, please never discontinue it. The only downside is that it is too watery, so it tends to leak outside the dropper and onto the glass when closing the lid. I think a pump would be a better fit.
Wonderful serum, it moisturizes very well. It is pleasant to apply and leaves the skin feeling nice. I can recommend it for sensitive skin. Thank you, Makeup!
