The color does not match at all; the salted caramel is not beige, but rather an unclear shade of pink.
This is indeed a liquid lipstick, not a gloss, with a subtle shine and a drier texture. It should be applied in thin layers, gradually building up. I really liked it, and the shade itself is cool, more peachy-nude, classy. However, I think it might be a bit heavier with darker shades.
Shade: Death by Chocolate. A beautiful, dark, chocolate-burgundy hue. When applied densely, it appears almost black. It wears like any non-matte lipstick - won't survive a meal. But I can always touch it up.
I purchased the lip gloss in the shade Fondue and I am very satisfied with it! It can be applied with both a thin and thick layer, visually enhancing the lips. On the downside, if the lips are dry, the gloss tends to emphasize it and if not applied carefully, it can appear uneven.
I decided to try the lip gloss since I really like this brand's eyeshadows. However, I was very disappointed. The color is pleasant, with a rich shimmer, and it smells delicious like chocolate. But the lip gloss itself is very watery and drying on the lips, and it doesn't provide any shine at all. After 15 minutes, there is no trace of it on the lips.
