Divine fragrance. Yes, that same one from 1994. I didn't have it back then, but my friend wore this scent. And now, it's like I've closed the circle. The perfume is truly exquisite, deep, unlike anything else, unique. It's a scent you want to inhale over and over again. Thank you, Cacharel, for not changing the fragrance over the years. And a big thanks to the makeup company for the fast delivery.
The scent is simply enchanting! At first, I didn't like it at all! I thought about giving it to someone else, but after a few months, I decided to try applying it to my wrists again... and something magical happened! An incredible aroma! Initially, it was somewhat unpleasantly sweet, but then some kind of chemistry occurred: exquisite, marvelous, with a restrained tone without any sweetness. It resonates close to the skin, without suffocating at all, delicately, subtly, and intelligently! I want to breathe it in endlessly!
My long-time love) Honestly, Cacharel is perhaps one of the very, very few brands that consistently produces fragrances without changing their formulas over the years. Every single perfume from this brand, year after year, decade after decade, sounds exactly the same as in the first releases. I have been wearing Noa for a couple of decades, I have been wearing Loulou for thirty years, I wore Eden back in the nineties. Not a single one has ever seemed to have changed even a note! This is why I immensely respect this brand.
Eden is a green, dense, swampy forest. It's marvelous, strange, fantastical, and ephemeral. Out of all the known fragrances I have, it is the most wonderfully beautiful, unique in its kind. It is still relevant today and sounds magnificent without any retro undertones. If I were to compare it, it somewhat resembles Mugler's Aura in character, but only in character (dense, fantastical forest and nymphs). It's like a "Forest Song." I find it strange to read these negative reviews, especially when people buy a fragrance based solely on comments, reviews, and opinions without testing it beforehand, relying only on someone else's taste and opinion. My question is: do you buy a car without test-driving it? So why write this negativity? The fragrance is exquisite, but it is not universal; it is unique, and that's what makes it beautiful. Personally, for me, Eden is one of the best comebacks from the 90s. I will definitely repurchase it!
This is a mediocre collection of fir trees, in my opinion it only adds some extra floral scents.
The perfumes are truly unusual and may not be suitable for everyone. They definitely need to be "aged" - the first spray immediately after delivery had a sharp scent, which my husband described as "pine forest cologne". After standing for a few days in a dark place, they now smell like watery lilies, with a hint of eucalyptus, a heavy scent, but very pleasant. A strong, long-lasting fragrance, it should be worn in suitable weather and, more importantly, in the right mood. For me, it is eccentric, confident, proud, and playful. It truly evokes thoughts of forest witches.
I really liked the perfume, although I had doubts considering the different reviews. When I wear it, I perceive it differently. For example, yesterday it seemed a bit heavy, but today it is something extraordinary: greenness, flowers, delicate with a slight bitterness. I took into account the comments and got exactly what I was expecting. This perfume is absolutely retro, without a doubt. It's loud, powerful, and not for everyone, but I'm quite a fan and have much more unusual pieces in my collection. It's long-lasting and has a trail like the devil himself, on my warm skin it unfolds with a retro powder and a hint of sweetness, although I wouldn't call it sweet. It's interesting, it makes you want to examine it closely. I'm looking forward to the rainy weather so I can take it for a walk outside, because there's a chance of poisoning my loved ones indoors. One of the most unusual scents that I have had the opportunity to "try", it is truly unique. The longevity is incredible, it stays on the skin even after showering, and I can still feel it on my clothes after a week, I would even say that it is a killer scent (in terms of longevity). At the beginning, in the opening and in the dry down, it hardly changes on my skin, it is a blend of water, herbs, delicate water lily, a summer forest near a lake with a touch of magic and charm. This is the scent of a Forest Nymph, otherwise it is even difficult for me to describe it. It is very unusual, mysterious, natural, a forest song, truly.

It's unmistakable, here you have both the river jungles and blooming water lilies, and sunburnt grass, and mimosa, and many other things that can be talked about and have already been said. It is definitely a masterpiece in the world of perfumery. It may seem flat at first test, but this is a deceptive impression. This perfume loves air, humidity, and changes in temperature, that's when it starts to play with all its colors. I fell in love with this scent when I was 16, and after the same number of years, I am still delighted by it. So those who write "retro", "age-specific" - it's all very individual, test it, try it, and don't listen to anyone else. Interestingly, the fragrance is indeed quite loud and dense, but I feel it very moderately on myself, that's how it belongs to me. P.S. Excellent longevity.

A fragrance for enthusiasts.
At first, I didn't really like it when a man gave it to me as a gift, describing how his ex-lover used to wear it and how he fell in love with this scent himself (they are both from the Baltic region). So, I can describe it as being suitable for their climate, with constant rains and damp weather, especially during the summer. It opens up in a cold, rainy autumn and smells like the forest, moss. However, in spring and summer, it becomes overly sweet, a bit heavy for the average climate zone...
I often sprayed it on myself at the beginning of warm autumn, and my colleagues would ask, "What is that smell of mold?" Then, I really sniffed it and noticed the notes of damp leaves. But it smells interesting on fabric. Overall, I rarely use it unless I'm in the mood for rain.

However, if perfumes like Mandragora Annie Goutal or Mugler Aura appeal to you, then this one will definitely be a hit. For me, it's like walking through a forest and stumbling upon a small lake amidst the bushes, all abundant with reeds, surrounded by many forest flowers that herbalists gather in bunches and then brew fragrant infusions from them.

This fragrance is not truly versatile and never has been, even in the 90s. Back then, I didn't wear it because I was very young and preferred citrus scents in perfumes. Two years ago, I bought Eden for my collection and, surprisingly to myself, I enjoy wearing it.
For those who are picky, I want to give a small piece of advice - apply the fragrance with just one spray and preferably below the waist. This subtle application reveals the beauty of Eden.

I do not share the indignation and complaints. This perfume is conceptual, with notes of lily and lotus that are immediately noticeable and linger in the head for a long time. Naturally, the scent is not for everyone; here, the melon is only represented by its rind, which has been exposed to the sun for a long time, and the sweetness is more reminiscent of a sweet decay. I didn't notice the mimosa, but the scent is so intoxicating and pollen-like that it's quite possible it's there. Patchouli at the base acts as a foundation, providing longevity. The longevity is around 6-7 hours with just one spray, which is very strong and economical. This is a STRANGE fragrance, only for connoisseurs of magical potions. It's like a green grove with a wild pond, filled with lilies and lotuses under the scorching sun. Both dark and light. It's better to keep this fragrance under a cap, like an exhibit, rather than wearing it every day. But it's art.

To put it briefly - this is terrible. It has a nauseating smell, not even close to a shoe freshener. Where is the lily, where is the melon?! There are no understandable or pleasant notes, only a sharp, piercing stench. As correctly stated in the comments below: the main emotion is confusion. Hoping that it will improve is useless - perfumes don't change that drastically. I certainly won't use it, it makes me sick. It's going straight into the trash bin along with almost 700 UAH. My advice, or rather, strong request - don't buy it without testing it. And if you do test it, you definitely won't buy it. I have no complaints about the store.

I agree with Natalia - this fragrance is a legend. It belonged to my mother a long time ago and now my wife has taken it. However, it's not for everyone, you could say it's a love-hate relationship. I have never encountered anything similar in terms of scent, it is truly unique. It has a classic but timeless contrasting aroma. It is perfect for spring and rainy summers. Its longevity is a solid 5 out of 5.
I really loved this fragrance in 2000. It brought back memories of my youth, joy, and the scent of linden blossoms and birch buds after the rain. I wanted to remind myself of that, so I bought it, but I was disappointed. It's not the same. It seems like the original, but the scent is heavy. They overdid it with the anise - in the 2000 version, it wasn't noticeable, but here it's like medicinal anise. I can clearly sense the powder and some chypre notes. After 2 hours, the scent became closer, but something still changed. Maybe we won't be friends... It's a pity.

I bought this product randomly, without testing it, just to have this legend for myself. Since I understood from the pyramid and reviews that I would like it, I am not afraid of complex scents. Right away, I sprayed half a spritz on my hand from the carrier and after some time, I realized that I already knew it, I had heard it a long time ago. Eden is complex, intoxicating, not for every nose and weather, but it is beautiful, these half spritzes are dense and viscous, they stayed with me the whole day. Undoubtedly original!
