The test should be conducted if you experience the following symptoms: a feeling of pressure on the bladder with an inability to urinate or the release of a very small amount of urine, a burning pain during urination, cloudy urine with an unpleasant odor, fever, malaise, or lower back pain.
Indications for the test include:
- lower abdominal pain;
- frequent urination;
- prior to vaccination.Urinary tract infections may be indicated by the presence of protein, blood, nitrites, and/or an elevated number of leukocytes in the urine. It's important not to underestimate urinary tract infections, as untreated or ignored infections can become chronic. The urinary tract infection test allows for early detection and appropriate treatment, thereby increasing the patient's chances of a quick and effective recovery.
