Typically avoided by pregnant and breastfeeding women. This is a photosensitive ingredient, as it is neutralized by sun and air exposure. It is recommended to include it in your evening skincare routine, and it is especially important to use a high SPF sunscreen the following morning to protect the skin. Retinol may slightly irritate the skin. If this occurs, it is advised to stop using it for a few days before resuming. Its application should be introduced gradually (2–3 times a week), then move to daily use.
