Curasept Proxi Interdental Brushes are the ultimate tool for cleaning between teeth and in areas where a toothbrush, floss, or toothpick cannot effectively remove plaque.

This innovative and unique protective cover, placed between the handle and the brush bristles, prevents gum injuries, offers greater stability to the wire tip, and enhances control of the interdental brush during use. The ergonomic handle provides a better grip and facilitates movement. The bristles are made from extremely flexible nylon (polyamide 612) fibers. The brush features an ultra-thin, durable, flexible, and non-traumatic tip. The sizes of the interdental brushes are indicated on the handle.

An interdental brush is a tool designed to remove dental plaque from various spaces by sliding/pushing it into the gap. For this reason, interdental brushes come in different diameters, offering one or multiple sizes that can reach various spaces without damaging the gums. The sizes of interdental brushes comply with ISO standards, which classify spaces between teeth by diameter. The diameter of the interdental brush (and therefore its ISO compliance) is determined by the diameter of the metal core plus the bristles on it. The correct size of an interdental brush is when the bristles completely fill the interdental space and the tool fits into the space without resistance, with a gentle push.

The Curasept Proxi Treatment series interdental brushes are size T10. This corresponds to ISO size 2 with a core diameter of 1.0 mm. The Treatment series is recommended for larger interdental spaces, which may result from gum issues, misaligned teeth, or dental procedures such as crowns and implants.
