Pani Walewska Classic Perfume

I ordered it from the EU. The Walewska fragrance is absolutely classic, of course, taking into account the inevitable changes caused by the development of the chemical industry. I can feel it on myself for about twelve hours. The scent on me is heavy, rich, clearly evening-like and suitable for the cold season. Just like I remember it from my childhood.

I purchased the fragrance in the EU. The bottle design was without a "foot". The scent is non-soapy, non-itchy, and not overpowering. In my opinion, the scent is more interesting than the original one from the 70s. It takes me back to my childhood. I bought several more bottles because they are cheap and beautiful. Considering its price, it is a decent fragrance. It has a cool winter vibe. It reminds me of the smell of plants after rain, with a blue sky and clouds, and wet asphalt. It would be more suitable for women. A good budget option.

Um... How can I put it? I personally bought the fragrance "rose, lily of the valley, jasmine". And on the Fragrantika website, the exact same information is provided. But on the packaging, it also mentions hyacinth. For me, this is unexpectedly sad. Please add hyacinth to the fragrance description. It is indeed shown in the packaging photo, but somehow I didn't catch that detail.

I have purchased this fragrance several times. I ordered it from the EU. My mom loves it and so do I. It is a classic, indescribable, wonderful scent that you can't forget or mistake.

I am very disappointed. The bottle is the same, the packaging, codes, etc., but the content is completely different. It has a completely different smell, none of the old components are there. The main note that distinguishes this fragrance is missing. These are completely different new perfumes. Maybe some people will like them, especially those who are not familiar with the classic version. But I am deeply saddened. The gift did not turn out as planned.

As mentioned correctly below, this is a chypre fragrance from the 70s, and it truly is. My mom has this little bottle in her collection, it's over 25 years old. I think this scent would suit those who truly understand perfumery and the years of fragrance releases, and of course, know how to wear perfumes. In my opinion, this fragrance is absolutely wintery, and it's better to apply it on clothes and in the evening.

Long-lasting classic, especially in our time when the art of perfumery is not valued, and many fall for cheap advertising and banal fragrance notes. Moreover, you need to know how to wear perfume, this one, for example, is clearly not for daytime (in our time) and not for warm weather (although, of course, there are enthusiasts)). But as an evening perfume, especially in cold weather and, for example, on thicker fabrics - it's perfect. And furthermore, it's not an "age-specific" perfume (such things do not exist), I, as a collector and perfume enthusiast, can state this with 100% accuracy.

My first impression of this fragrance is that it reminds me of a triple cologne from my childhood. I can't say it's completely terrible, but the scent is definitely a matter of personal preference. Perhaps it would be more suitable for an older age group...

The bottle has been sitting for several years. I read that it should stand. I diligently tested it at first once a month, then once every few months, then forgot about it. This year, in the summer and now, there is no longer the main and constant scent of powder. The scent has lost its sharpness as it was when I first bought it. But that's all the changes.

I have been dreaming of trying a perfume from this series for a long time, but the price held me back. However, the advertising finally got to me, so I purchased it here on Makeup. I was hoping for a super feminine, mysterious, and elegant fragrance in a beautiful bottle. The design of the bottle is slightly different from the photo, but the content disappointed me. It has a monotonous soapy smell that doesn't last on the skin but lingers on clothes without a trail. Maybe I just haven't figured out this product yet. Nonetheless, I want to thank Makeup for their excellent service and superb fast delivery!

Someone rightly wrote in a review that if you like Chanel No. 5, you will like this fragrance too. It has a very unique and rich scent that I really enjoyed. I tried all six variations and they are the best. The black, white, and gold ones are just okay, tolerable. The pale pink and red ones are the sweetest but I didn't like them. Overall, these perfumes are not bad for the price, you can indulge yourself a bit. And if there are any that you don't like, you can always give them to someone else.

I must say, I love this scent. However, I fully understand that it is incredibly unusual, strange because it is aldehydic. It belongs to a type of fragrance that not many people like. If you enjoy Chanel No. 5, then you will also like this scent. And of course, it is important to understand that it has a vintage smell, like a dress you wouldn't wear every day. But when the mood strikes, yes, you need this specific fragrance.

However, I have to say that they are a complete disappointment and awful!
They don't just not smell, they stink! We were shocked, then burst out laughing. In short, these are not the right perfumes, they're not even perfumes at all.
Maybe they are different in different batches, I read reviews before buying them, maybe they are being counterfeited, I don't know what else could justify this smell. They wouldn't even be suitable as air fresheners, as they just smell absolutely repulsive.

The manufacturers have really ruined the perfume. Compared to the 1985 and 1989 versions that I had (which then simply disappeared everywhere), this is the WORST HORROR! Only a liquid residue of the initial note remains from its former magnificence, and even that is rancid. There is not even a trace of the heart and end notes, and the remaining scent is a heavily diluted old men's cologne mixed with water. It just makes you want to cry knowing that no one will probably ever experience that wonderful, amazingly unfolding and long-lasting trail that young men and men standing next to me in the trolleybus were eagerly inhaling. Hello to the manufacturers who killed the best in Miraculum!

I can describe it as a cold cologne-like chypre fragrance. It is unique and very cozy, at least for me.
