First, properly prepare your nails. This step is crucial because the longevity of the gel polish depends on correct preparation. Use a file or buffer to remove the shine from your nails and then dehydrate them. Apply a thin layer of the gel polish base coat to your nails and cure it under a UV lamp for 2 minutes. Next, apply a layer of colored gel polish over the base coat and cure it under the UV lamp for another 2 minutes.
Repeat the previous step. You can skip this step if you prefer a semi-transparent color for your manicure. For a more opaque and vibrant color, apply two layers of colored gel polish. After curing the second layer of colored gel polish under the UV lamp, apply a thin layer of the top coat, paying special attention to the nail edges. Cure the top coat under the UV lamp and then remove the sticky residue using a dehydrator.
