Original Lip Balm - Pure Paw Paw Ointment Original
I received this as a gift from my sister because she heard good reviews about it. I was surprised to find that it is quite thick in the jar, but it feels pleasant on the lips, not sticky, and has no scent. I like it.
I fell for the reviews and discovered that not everyone has the same taste when it comes to color and flavor. Right now, it's terrible and disgusting on the lips. But the fact is that it heals the lips nicely. Personally, I won't be buying it again for myself. It's better to add a little more and buy the usual Medela lip balm. It's much more effective. I use it on my cuticles because it's really unpleasant on the lips. It comes in a semi-solid state in the tube, I'll add a photo. If you still want to apply it on your lips, it's best to rub it in with your fingers.
I made a mistake; I wanted to order Lucas paw paw. However, this product is very thick, unpleasant, and does not distribute well. It resembles Vaseline and has no scent. Nonetheless, it might work better than a regular lip balm.
It is no secret to anyone that this balm is a cosplay of Lucas Papaw. I have both. Lucas is much thinner and shines on the lips; it can be applied just for beauty, unlike Pure Paw Paw, which distributes poorly on the lips, clumps up, and leaves a yellow greasy residue. However, I will not give Pure Paw Paw one or two stars because it works fairly well as a mask for very windburned or cracked lips or as a primer 20 minutes before applying lipstick (dab before lipstick application).
The best lip balm I have ever had! I've tried Chanel and many other non-budget balms, but this one has been with me for three years now. It keeps my lips moisturized all day long, and I completely forgot what cracked and dry lips feel like.
Awful balm. It's hard to even call it a balm. It squeezes out of the tube like a "sausage," making it difficult to spread on the lips with just fingers.
Vaseline is Vaseline, but it does stay on the lips for a long time.
This lip moisturizer is excellent, as it effectively keeps my lips hydrated. It has a neutral scent and a great formula. It suits me perfectly!
I was skeptical about this kind of balms because it's basically just vaseline. But, I bought it spontaneously and thought I would throw it away and go back to Sierra Bees, but I liked this balm so much that I now order another one.
I always bite my lips, and during the cold season, they are always either dry or windburned, but this balm is my lifesaver. Nothing else restores and protects my lips as quickly. Plus, I don't have to use it every day like I used to with other balms. If there's a problem, I apply it at night or during the day, it restores everything. It's like it softens dry skin. After that, there's no need to use it until I bite or get windburned again. It's not like I apply it and after 2 hours my lips dry out again. And it's not greasy if you don't apply it too thick. With oily balms, I could feel the greasiness, but here it's a non-oily, light occlusion.
A big plus is that it has no scent. I'm not a fan of all these fragrances, and it's hard for me to find a scent that I truly enjoy. And it lasted me almost a year (!).
The lip balm is more pleasant than this. It feels like thick grease, and has an unpleasant odor. Only Lineage is a pity that I saved on it.
Unfortunately, this product is just plain petroleum jelly. It's not a pleasant balm at all. I would much rather recommend trying Weleda or Himalaya Herbals instead.
I thought that this balm and Lucas Papaw Ointment were the same, but they are not. This balm moisturizes my lips less effectively. My lips quickly absorb it, so I have to constantly reapply it.
It moisturizes well, but just like regular petroleum jelly.
I ordered this product based on the reviews of other girls who were quite satisfied with it. When I received the package, I used this balm for about a week. Honestly, it is really good and I can recommend it to others. It doesn't have any smell or taste, which is great (at least for me). I am satisfied with this lip balm, and I recommend it.
It is truly amazing, but only if used correctly (girls who wrote negative reviews, take this into consideration and you will be satisfied 100%). First of all, you only need a tiny amount (literally 1/6 of a pea). During application, it will be super thick, but it spreads well on warm lips using the tip. Then, make sure to rub your lips together. This way, you will get a nourishing and lightweight balm that will even save the most neglected lips. I tried it personally and I recommend it 100% (just be careful with the scent, as it varies for each type and is felt differently by everyone).
I have heard many good reviews about this balm, so I decided to try it out. I must say, it is just a regular petroleum jelly, it doesn't have any scent, but that was expected. It can leave a white mask on the lips if you apply too much, but it moisturizes well, just like other balms. The large volume is a plus. However, I wouldn't choose this balm again next time. Thank you, Makeup, for the fast delivery!
After reading the reviews, I decided to buy this product to test it out. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst balm I have ever tried. The papaya name is the only thing it has in common, as it actually smells like petroleum jelly.
Cool balm, versatile
Before, PawPaw original had a slightly different design, but it was also red with black.
So, that old balm was the best in my life.
But this one... it's just petroleum jelly.
