Soak the sponge in water. Squeeze out the excess water and leave it damp (the sponge should expand significantly, indicating it's ready for use). For wet application, apply a small amount of product (foundation, concealer, or other creamy cosmetics) directly onto your skin (not onto the sponge) and blend it in using tapping motions. For dry application, the sponge can be used for "baking," which involves precise application of loose powder. The wider part of the sponge is ideal for covering larger areas of the face, while the narrow tip is perfect for applying product to hard-to-reach areas (such as the inner corners of the eyes, eyelids, or nostrils) and for more detailed work. After each use, wash the sponge thoroughly with mild soap or shampoo, rinse it, and leave it to dry (note: do not store the wet sponge in a closed space to avoid mold growth).
