Introducing the enchanting violet, radiating tenderness and multiplying mystery, crafting a magnetic persona. This is the vibe encapsulated by the dynamic fragrance Dolce Violet from the esteemed brand Dolce&Gabbana. Classified under the floral-fruity category, it blends sweet, fresh, and tart motifs. The scent awakens decisiveness and self-confidence, empowering you to feel like the main character. Its beautiful bottle, in a noble purple hue, will adorn your shelf.
The olfactory pyramid of Dolce Violet by Dolce & Gabbana:
Top notes combine citrusy chords of mandarin, the freshness of blackcurrant leaves, and violet motifs of cyclamen, unveiling a spring-like freshness.
Middle notes unfold with the tart sweetness of pear, bright overtones of violet, alongside juicy and fresh nuances of blackcurrant.
Base notes create a sweet trail with woody motifs, featuring chords of Madagascar vanilla, oriental shades of musk, and honeyed notes of sandalwood.
This is a wonderful perfume. It has a hint of violets, a touch of currants (though not as pronounced as in other perfumes), and a subtle hint of lilac (which is not listed in the fragrance notes). It has a warm, fruity-floral scent that is perfect for spring or summer. The longevity is not very strong, lasting around 3 hours and sitting close to the skin. It is similar to other fragrances in this collection, such as peony, rose, and shine. It is necessary to reapply every few hours, so it is recommended to carry a travel spray with you. Overall, I have positive impressions of both the fragrance and the delivery. As always, the service was quick and of high quality.
However, I have one concern. I love Dolce Gabbana, but I was surprised to see that the bottle I received from Europe, thanks to Makeup, did not have engraving like other bottles from the same series. Instead, it had a sticker. The bottle is completely the same as the original. It does not resemble a copy at all. (Because I have a genuine copy of Rosa Excelsa in my collection, which my friend bought without realizing it was a fake, and the lid and bottle are different). So, this perfume is absolutely no different from the original Dolce Gabbana from the same series, except for the engraving/sticker on the bottom. I hope this is a trend of Dolce Gabbana saving on labeling rather than duplicating from Italy. I draw Makeup's attention to this. I have seen many counterfeits claiming to be from Procter & Gamble, England. They usually have a similar bottle, but the fake one has a more pronounced and taller flower and a thicker bottle bottom. Therefore, it does not resemble a fake either.
