The Sport Menstrual Cup from the MeLuna brand is the choice for active women seeking reliable, leak-proof protection during their menstrual days. The Sport cup easily handles the high pressure of surrounding muscles and remains airtight during intense physical activity, where softer alternatives may fail and leak. The size L is suitable for women who use large tampons (and change them frequently), have heavy menstruations, have given birth, or have weakened pelvic floor muscles. With this menstrual cup, you gain reliable protection and comfort even in the most active moments of life.
Features of the MeLuna Sport Menstrual Cup L:
- the strongest menstrual cup of the brand (25% stronger than MeLuna Classic);
- flexible, ensuring it unfolds even under the strong pressure of surrounding muscles;
- does not sit vertically in the body: during menstruation, the cervix may protrude into the cup, so you might not be able to use the full volume, but it should serve as a benchmark for other menstrual cups;
- dimensions: maximum diameter - 44 mm, length without handle - 51 mm, total capacity of the cup - 34 ml;
- designed for women who engage in very active sports (yoga, horseback riding, Pilates, Kegel exercises, martial arts, pole dancing, etc.).-
Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are various methods of insertion, so you can try different ones to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, it will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating proper placement. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval. If you detect dents or irregularities, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Slightly pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, suction has occurred, and the cup is successfully in place!
