The intriguing new release from Ex Nihilo, Cuir Celeste, is not crafted for fleeting interactions but for forging profound connections that transform perceptions of the brand. This renowned selective laboratory from France has unveiled this fragrance pyramid with an eye on the new trends in perfumery and popular culture. The opening note is set by exotic black pepper, meticulously blended with the magical echoes of tart violet leaves and the impeccably refined galbanum. Despite the complexity of scents, the result is impressive, yet restrained and harmonious. The heart pauses in anticipation of the rounded musk mallow and the shy beauty of osmanthus. The base is decidedly contemporary, with the molecule of cypriol taking its rightful place, accompanied by a bunch of patchouli and a modest woody symphony.
I bought a sample, not here unfortunately, but I want to say this: I love niche fragrances for their ability to disappear and then be heard again! As for the scent itself, it's not a narcotic flair, of course. This fragrance is very light ("heavenly skin"), you can spray a few times and not suffocate. I sprayed it in the morning, then at 4:00 PM, and also on my wrist, that's the only way I could enjoy this scent. I mostly smell the violet, which I have loved since childhood (night violet is pure bliss), it's good that I don't smell the leather, I'm not a fan of it. If I had known the translation of the name earlier, maybe I wouldn't have bought it. (In Kelly by Hermes, the leather is very noticeable, even though I sprayed 100ml of that fragrance). In the evening, I took a shower and washed my hair, and the scent disappeared. But when I had coffee at 11:30 PM (I'm a terrible coffee addict, you can scold me :) oh, and a perfume maniac), I smelled the familiar scent again, from my wrist. My skin became warmer - and it revealed itself! Bingo! A fragrance for warm skin!
