This product boasts anti-inflammatory and acne-fighting properties. The pads reduce the visibility of enlarged sebaceous glands. Azelaic acid has strong comedolytic, bacteriostatic, and sebostatic properties, reducing acne outbreaks in both common and rosacea-affected skin. Its subtle keratolytic effect helps lighten pigmentation spots and smooth the skin's surface, making it uniform and silky. Arnica and cucumber extracts reduce inflammation and minimize erythema. This cosmeceutical is designed for combination and seborrheic skin types, as well as for skin prone to rosacea, pimples, and acne.

For nighttime use. Remove a pad from the jar and gently wipe it over your skin, avoiding the eye area. You may experience a mild tingling and burning sensation after application. Do not rinse off the product. Once the burning sensation subsides, apply a moisturizer or serum from the Hyaluronic or Therapeutic line.
Initially, use twice a week, then gradually increase the frequency of use. For skin with advanced rosacea or acne vulgaris, you may use the pads daily or as directed by a dermatologist. The treatment may cause peeling and irritation of the epidermis; if this occurs, increase the intervals between applications.
These pads are intended for facial therapy, as well as for the décolletage, back, and areas affected by acne or hyperkeratinization.
When treating with azelaic acid, use zinc-based creams every morning: Dermomedica Antioxidant Mineral Cream SPF 30 or Resveratrol Mineral Cream SPF 30 for mineral sun protection.
