Neglige Joseph Sons is an exceptionally elegant, luxurious fragrance that combines woody shades with oriental motifs. Its creators designed it to be unisex, allowing everyone to enjoy its olfactory pyramid. As the composition unfolds, it introduces us to a leather note reminiscent of baby shampoo and the smell of your own little one's crown. This evokes warm sensations, tranquility, and prompts a dive into memories.
Top Note is woven from the specific, soothing sounds of bitter-spicy lavender, sensual shades of leather, and the warmth of sand.
Heart Note unfolds with a woody richness, where one can sense a deep vetiver chord, a misty-musky hint of sandalwood, and a sweet-balsamic nuance of agarwood.
Base Note: concludes with the rough, earthy tones of moist wood combined with the spicy Gurjun balsam, radiating confidence and optimism.
If metaphorically speaking, this fragrance is like a hot wind in the steppe of Kherson, spices, sweet smoke, and church arches. In terms of notes, I can clearly detect vetiver, frankincense (although I couldn't figure out if it's actually there or if it's just my imagination), some balsamic undertones, resins, and oak (although oak doesn't seem to be listed). It's beautifully captivating. I gave a bottle to my boyfriend, and we both wear it, but it sounds slightly different on each of us. It's a great scent. I was expecting it to be a replica of Opium by Laurence, but I couldn't find any similarities. It's truly unique and niche, not trying to imitate others. 10/10.
