The serum (I guessed it was oil) smells very nice. It has a surprisingly pleasant scent, not overpowering. My hair feels soft after using it. I combine 1 capsule of Jerden Proff and a little bit of Magotan hair cream - it works really well for my shoulder-length, curly hair in creating defined curls. Plus, the scent is incredible.
