Panouge Datura Amaretti Eau de Parfum for women boasts a floral-chypre fragrance. When it was being created, a biscuity accord was intended to be the main feature. However, as the composition began to take shape, the notes autonomously crafted a powerful and unpredictable scent. The desired biscuity delight receded into the background, giving way to the leading vibrant and contradictory accords of datura and almond. The Datura Amaretti fragrance can be likened to a fatal woman of the Baroque era. She is sunny, light, playful, yet at the same time, mad, mysterious, and "poisonous". Due to such contradictions, the composition feels velvety yet scandalous, enigmatic yet bright.
The fragrance opens with sparkling notes of mandarin and cherry. This impeccable start paves the way for the bold pyramid of Datura Amaretti. At its heart, one can sense creamy, slightly gourmand accords of ylang-ylang. Alongside it are the notes of datura flowers. They are sunny, open, and warm, yet at the same time narcotic, disconcerting, and addictive. The perfumed composition boasts a lasting sillage. All thanks to a vivid base woven from notes of resinous cedarwood, unsettling almond, and sensual, sexual musk.
This perfume is incredibly long-lasting with a very strong scent. It fills the entire space and lingers in the air for a couple of hours after application.
I have been using this perfume water for two months, spraying it five times, and I can barely even hear it on myself. The scent is weak, delicate, floral, and not long-lasting, nor does it leave a trail.
A vibrant scent of white flowers, I suspect it to be datura, which is also known as the flower of intoxication. Afterwards, gourmet and sweet notes become apparent. It is very unique and unlike anything else. I really liked it.
The packaging is nice, well-sealed, and there was no air leakage. However, when I first pressed it, there was some spraying. The scent is pleasant, slightly sweet, but not overwhelming. In my opinion, the initial notes are very noticeable lily of the valley fragrance, followed by a light musky scent. It's not a bad option for winter. The perfume doesn't last long and doesn't leave a lingering trail.
