While a time machine may not yet have been invented, there are items capable of transporting us to the past. The catalytic lamp is an exquisite and refined accessory that hails from the 19th century. Its operating principle is quite simple. However, unlike other aromatic solutions, the catalytic lamp not only eliminates unpleasant odors but also disinfects the air. Choose your favorite Ambientair fragrance and create your own atmosphere.
Features of the Ambientair Lacrosse Wood & Tonka Lamp Fragrance:
- Fills the space with a pleasant aroma;
- Masks unpleasant smells;
- Excellently purifies the air of bacteria;
- Stylish and creative design;
- An original gift idea;
- For safe use without flame;
- Delightful woody scent with notes of vanilla bourbon, cedar, and patchouli.-
1. Choose a location for the lamp: a flat and stable surface, away from heat sources and out of reach of children and/or pets.
2. Using a funnel, fill the lamp's body to 2/3 of its volume with a liquid suitable for catalytic lamps. The liquid can be neutral or scented, and you can mix them to achieve a lower intensity of fragrance. After filling, clean any leftover liquid from the lamp's body and surface.
3. Insert the burner and ensure its wick is in contact with the liquid and that the stone is well-positioned above the metal base of the lamp. If this is the burner’s first use, cover the stone with the cap (otherwise the fragrance will evaporate) and allow the wick to absorb the liquid for 20 minutes.
4. Remove the cap and use a lighter to ignite the burner, letting the flame burn for two minutes. The flame should reach about 7 to 10 cm (3 to 4 inches) and will reduce in size with the use of the burner. Do not leave the lamp unattended during these two minutes and never touch the stone during this process.
5. Blow out the flame and, once it's extinguished, cover the stone with the protective crown. The stone will be hot, so avoid touching it: your lamp is now operational.
6. Allow the lamp to purify the air for about 20 minutes in an area of approximately 10 square meters.
7. To stop the lamp, carefully remove the protective crown, as it may be warm, and cover the hot stone with the metal cap to prevent further combustion and evaporation of the fragrance.
8. For storage, leave the cap and protective crown on the metal base of the lamp, so it is ready for the next use.
