Marc Jacobs Perfect, a perfume, is light and doesn't have an overpowering scent. I bought the 30ml bottle after trying a sample, and it's perfect for this time of year and for spring. It has a joyful and spring-like fragrance that will also be great for summer. The scent doesn't last long on the body, so it's suitable for the office and won't overpower anyone. It has a mood-lifting and sunny aroma with hints of juicy greenery and the scent of early mornings. I love Marc Jacobs perfumes because they are balanced and this floral fragrance is just right. I can detect notes of narcissus and a noticeable scent of juicy pear, although I'm not sure if it's in the fragrance's base. The cedar is also present and it's love at first sniff. I apply it to my hair, wrists, and the back of my neck under my hair, and I can still smell it lightly for half a day. I carry it in my bag and reapply periodically. It's a fragrance for romantic ladies and those who love intense and long-lasting scents might find it light, but it's a great addition to any perfume collection for daily wear. I definitely recommend it.
The fragrance is quite underwhelming. At first, you can smell a strong hint of pear, but then it becomes more like something a teenager would wear. It's just a typical sweet perfume. It's like a fizzy drink, but with a chemical aftertaste. I definitely didn't expect to be so disappointed.
