Experts at the Canne brand deeply understand what constitutes high-quality facial skincare to maintain its youth, beauty, and health for as long as possible. For this, it is crucial to timely cleanse the skin of impurities and dead skin cells. A special gentle-action AHA/BHA multi-acid peel with vitamin C will serve as an excellent tool for achieving this goal.
Features of the AHA/BHA multi-acid peel with vitamin C from the Canne brand:
- formulated with 5 natural acids: mandelic, lactic, citric, salicylic, and ascorbic;
- mandelic acid penetrates the top layer of the epidermis, activating the cleansing process of dead cells, sebum, and dirt;
- stimulates the production of collagen and elastin;
- initiates natural regeneration processes;
- helps smooth out wrinkles;
- pH 2.0;
- contains Tremella extract, which tones the skin and makes the acids' impact gentle;
- suitable for use in all seasons;
- effective for all skin types;
- designed for home use.-
Apply the product evenly to dry, cleansed facial skin using a cotton applicator or a special fan brush in the following order: forehead, temples, chin, cheeks, and nose. Avoid the eye area. Leave the peel on for 5-10 minutes. Apply 2-4 layers. Afterward, thoroughly rinse off the peel with water. The basic course consists of 5 sessions, performed 1-2 times per week. The product can also be used on other body areas such as the neck, décolleté, back, and hands. Before use, it is recommended to dispense the peel into a separate container using a dropper, measuring 3-5 ml per session.
This exfoliator is very weak, and after two months of using it, there is no difference at all.
Overall, I really liked the peeling product. It left my skin smooth and delicate. However, I purchased it with the intention of solving my acne problem, but unfortunately, it didn't have any effect in that aspect. Maybe I should try a peeling with different components from the same brand.
I have been buying this peeling product for a while now. I have also tried other Canne products and have always been satisfied. However, something has changed here. The color used to be slightly yellowish, but now it is clear liquid. There is no burning sensation or peeling. It seems like the peeling has become weaker. I don't see the noticeable effect anymore, like before. It's a pity. I will go back to the azelaic one. Hopefully, it remains unchanged.
I didn't get along with this product for some reason. First of all, the scent of calendula is present. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it because I really dislike calendula. But if the product worked, I could tolerate it, but it doesn't work. Well, I applied it 5 times, once a week as recommended by the manufacturer, but I didn't see any results. Well, yes, the black spots on my nose cleared up. But that's it. No tone evenness, no softer skin, nothing at all. And especially, there is no effect that would be enough to take a break from using it. According to the instructions, the basic course is 5 procedures. As I understand it, the effect should last for a certain period of time. But here, if you don't use it constantly, I didn't understand anything at all. And even on a regular basis, it doesn't cope with anything other than exfoliating the nose. This is despite the fact that I don't have any particular skin problems. Normal skin, not oily, without acne, without any special pigmentation. All you need is to simply cleanse the pores, nose, and soften the skin by evening out the tone. The much less concentrated 5% lactic acid from The Ordinary does all of this in one use with a much gentler effect. Because with this one, it burns, it gives the impression that it cleans, but no... if you apply just a little bit to avoid stinging, there will be no result at all. In short, it's not worth it.
So, I disagree with the previous review: the consistency of the peeling is more gel-like, rinses off easily, without leaving any unpleasant sensations, films or odors. The peeling action is gentle, I used it as a course before applying the alginate mask. It slightly lightened pigmented spots. The main thing is to remember to use a product with SPF even after such a non-aggressive home peeling.
The worst peeling I have ever used for home care!
1. In terms of consistency, it is like WATER, which flows on your face regardless of the angle you apply it...
2. In terms of effectiveness, it is like WATER, which does absolutely nothing good for the skin, even if you apply it in 6-7 layers.
3. During rinsing, you can already feel that something is not right. The skin feels like it's covered with a thin layer of oil, and the water just runs off without washing anything away.
4. The scent is like alcohol and calendula. This smell will stay on your face until you cleanse your skin in the morning/evening.
5. Totally unjustified expense. Let's round the price to 400 UAH, not too much, not too little, but for this price, you can buy much better products that justify every penny.
I gave this product a second chance by putting it in the fridge, hoping that the consistency would change, but no miracles happened. I have oily, problematic skin that was in acne remission, so I was treating post-acne, but after using this peeling twice, I was surprised by breakouts on my cheeks in the morning.
The peeling is good, I applied it as instructed. After using it, my skin feels very smooth and the texture of my skin evens out, getting rid of those pesky pimples. It does brighten the complexion, but not as much as I had hoped. I was expecting a greater effect.
I have sensitive skin that is prone to inflammation. To combat this, I occasionally use peels. Most often, I used almond peel with a 40% concentration. However, I decided to try something lighter for at-home peels. I chose this multi-acid peel.
Oh, how wrong I was to think it would be lighter! It caused a nuclear reaction on my skin. I applied one layer for 5 minutes, and that was enough. It burned like crazy. I was really scared that I would have tomato-like skin for several days. But to my surprise, when I woke up in the morning, there wasn't a single inflamed pimple left. My pores were noticeably tightened. My skin calmed down, the redness disappeared, but it became uneven in tone, and it seemed like freckles appeared (or like after a few days at the beach).
Although the manufacturer does not claim to lighten or even out the skin tone, since it contains almond acid (which does help even out the skin tone and lighten it), I expected this effect.
Now I'm wondering if it was a specific acid that didn't suit me or if the tremella extract had such an effect (the smell of which lingered on my skin for several hours).
Conclusion: for the price, this is a wonderful at-home peel! I think it would be perfect, as the manufacturer suggests, for oily and problematic skin. I will definitely purchase products from this brand again and try other peels.
Girls, don't write reviews the day after the first use. The recommended course is 4-5 procedures once a week. Go through this process, and only then draw conclusions. Just like I did. This product is amazing, even though it didn't seem so after the first use. Firstly, I applied one layer for 5 minutes, and there was almost no effect, except for increased oiliness. But from the next applications, I noticed an improvement in the condition of my skin. I am surprised that even the number of comedones, those countless subcutaneous formations that cannot be removed at all, has decreased. The skin is brighter, almost all pigmented spots have disappeared, and the pores are clean and less noticeable. By the way, there was such minimal peeling that the aesthetic aspect of this issue was easily resolved by applying a regular daytime cream. I was very afraid of acids, but now they are my must-have.
