This battery is completely useless. I have been using it daily, sometimes multiple times a day, since the fourth month, but it's still a pile of junk! It just keeps stretching.
It performs its function. However, it does not absorb well into the skin, requiring a long time to apply. As a result, the stomach feels sticky afterwards.
I love this product. The scent, consistency, and feeling during and after application are all great! I really wish it came with a spatula so I wouldn't have to wash it off from under my nails. That's why I use the spatula that came with the eye patches. I only apply it at night and it lasts me about a month. Overall, it has become one of my favorite skincare routines.
Well, probably out of all skincare products, this one is the most unpleasant. Firstly, it should be noted that it is just a regular butter in terms of consistency - yes, it absorbs, but it feels very greasy to the touch, making you want to wash it off immediately after application, the consistency is very heavy. Surprisingly, it did not come with any spoon or scoop, even though they are clearly needed. Constantly digging it out with your fingers is not very pleasant, especially if you have nails (it's a separate pleasure to clean them afterwards)...
Secondly, what I really didn't like is the smell. In principle, there is nothing critical about it, but it is like a mixture of pharmacy and aroma oils. When you enter a room after using it, there is a lingering pharmacy scent, the smell is very persistent and remains on the skin for a long time. I don't understand why they couldn't make the smell at least pleasant... at the very least.
Thirdly, the butter is not at all economical. If you plan to use it twice a day, don't be surprised that the jar will be finished in a couple of weeks, and if you apply it actively...
The only positive thing I can say is that it does absorb quite quickly, literally within 10 minutes. But there are many similar products that don't have such a strong smell and possess the same properties. Most of the money was probably invested in the glass jar, I suspect that's why this butter is priced so high, as I didn't find any particular merits other than absorption.
In conclusion, I'm more inclined to not recommend it rather than recommend it...
It is not the first time that my choice stops specifically on Weleda products! I have been using the butter after pregnancy (during pregnancy, I chose Weleda oil), and I am more than satisfied with the results! It is light, without strong odors, and absorbs well! I sincerely recommend it to all pregnant women! I also chose Weleda products for my child (bathing product with calendula) and it is incredible! Thank you Weleda for the quality, affordability, and wide range of products for the whole family!
Great battery! I used the oil and liked the texture of the bread more. By the way, it's also cost-effective. I recommend it to pregnant women.
I used this brand's butter and oil throughout my entire pregnancy. I am very satisfied with the results. My skin is moisturized and fragrant. I highly recommend it.
I don't know about stretch mark prevention, so I can't judge, but this cream is great. It absorbs quickly if applied to the skin after a shower and has a pleasant consistency - it's actually a butter. It smells nice but not too strong, HOWEVER, this scent doesn't fade quickly from the skin. Those experiencing morning sickness probably won't be able to use it (you literally walk around smelling like it for a few hours).
I hope to go back to using this cream in the second trimester because it's really pleasant. It's strange to make specialized cosmetics for pregnant women with fragrance.
But for now, the best thing I've found is the emollient and tropicream lotion. These products moisturize without any scent.
You can buy it to reassure yourself that you have done something to prevent stretch marks. There are many stretch marks on the chest, but none on the stomach, as it was with my mother, meaning it is purely a genetic predisposition.
Neither the oil nor the battery helped either, and a few stretch marks appeared (but I had a large belly due to being pregnant with twins). I continue to use it simply because I like it.
It didn't help me at all, neither the butter nor the oil (everyone's experience is individual and cosmetic products may not always be able to solve the issue, so if you have stretch marks, don't waste money on expensive products).
This cream is very rich! I applied it at night specifically because it is not pleasant to walk around feeling sticky during the day. I applied it twice, stuck to the bed, and didn't apply any more. It is also difficult to spread because it is very thick.
I started using the stretch mark oil regularly from about 15 weeks. By the time I reached 30/31 weeks, they finally started appearing. I added the stretch mark butter to my routine, hoping it would help a little. The skin feels moisturized after using the butter. I like that it has a natural composition.
I have been using the oil and the cream for 5 months now. I have already used 7 jars of oil and I am ordering my third jar of cream. I am not a big woman in terms of size, but I do take good care of my skin. I apply the products 3-4 times a day. The cream is convenient when I need it to absorb quickly. Stretch marks have indeed appeared in some areas, and quite a few. So, whether or not they appear depends on many factors. However, I will continue using these products even after giving birth. I enjoy this ritual, the scents of the oils, and maybe the stretch marks will become less noticeable.
Cool thing! It's just what you need for summer! It absorbs into the skin very quickly. Before this, I bought oil from this company, and it was also great.
Pleasant smell, gentle texture! I have just started using it, so it is too early to talk about its effectiveness, but my first impression is very pleasant.
I really liked the body butter. It absorbs well into my skin and doesn't leave a sticky film. The ingredients, as always with Weleda, are perfectly organic and suitable for pregnant women. It's easy to apply and my skin feels more nourished and firmer with each use. The scent is nice, especially for me. I haven't had any stretch marks at 32 weeks, so I'm satisfied with this cream and will definitely try their baby products.
The description of the butter's composition is missing on the website, so I assumed it was similar to oil. However, it turned out to contain extract of Asian centella stems. It is believed that this ingredient may have a harmful effect on the fetus. It was my carelessness for not finding the composition beforehand, but please add a description on the website.
As for the delivery, the makeup arrived quickly and was of good quality, as always.
I have been using Weleda mama butter and liquid oil since the 7th month of my pregnancy. Before that, from around the second half of the 3rd month, I used oil and cream from the brand Mustela. By the ninth month, I had run out of the liquid oil, so now I only use the butter. I prefer the Weleda brand, as it has a light scent and both the liquid oil and butter absorb well into the skin, without leaving any stains on clothes, as long as you gently massage it into the skin. It is definitely better to apply the filtered butter/oil from the jar than any other oil, at least in my opinion. The manufacturer has already thought of everything for our convenience, such as the high-quality glass packaging (with a convenient dispenser). After using it, my skin feels smooth and moisturized. I apply it in the morning, evening, and often again during the day. I am currently in the 37th week, and my skin condition is excellent. When my belly itches, applying the product immediately brings relief. I hope everything will continue to be good even at the 40th week, and I will update my review if anything changes. I have gained 11.5kg in weight. Just for reference, I am 34 years old, but younger girls can also experience stretch marks.
Knowing the glowing reviews for the oil, I immediately bought two products: oil and butter. I use the butter in the morning and the oil in the evening. The butter has a pleasant, melting texture. It absorbs well and is very economical to use, just a tiny bit is needed. It applies smoothly and easily to damp skin. It has a shelf life of 30 weeks and so far I'm very satisfied, not a single stretch mark.
