Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—try a few and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or "pop" sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly placed. If you notice any dents or indentations, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to ensure a suction seal has formed. Once it’s secure, give the stem a slight tug; if you feel resistance, a vacuum seal has been created, and the cup is successfully in place!
