Ciara Eau de Parfum is particularly special for Revlon, as it was launched in 1973 by the brand's founder Charles Revson, the same year as the iconic Charlie. This fragrance offers a unique opportunity to return to the authentic roots of femininity amid the diversity of modern perfumery experiments.
The refreshing and sensual composition opens with the classic note of bergamot, accented by the delicate touch of neroli and the cheerful nuance of raspberry. A creamy, powdery iris blooms at the heart of the fragrance, surrounded by the sharpness of jasmine and the fruity accent of palmarosa. Sweet vanilla and cozy leather lend a special sensuality, adapting all the notes to the warmth of your skin. The seductive musk, dense frankincense, and animalistic opoponax perfectly anchor the fragrance's bouquet.
I didn't buy it here, but I want to leave a review. This is the older sister of L'agent by Agent Provocateur! It's more serious, more mature. The notes hold up very well. It's a perfume that reminds me of the "old school." But because of that, it's even more unique and beloved. It has a prestigious, serious feel to it. It's a perfume for certain moods, not for everyday wear. It lasts the whole day! I have both the perfume and the eau de toilette. And let me tell you, the eau de toilette even has a louder sound.
Pleasant, not retro - not granny's perfume - but there is a slight retro touch - the most important thing is that it is wearable and non-irritating. It is very similar - almost identical to Giorgio Beverly Hills Red - only Giorgio Red is not sweet at all, while Ciara is not a candy scent - but at least there is a hint of sweetness. Ciara is much more pleasant and I was able to wear it unlike Giorgio Red! Ciara does not irritate at all, while Giorgio, despite being an expensive fragrance and very similar to Ciara, has slight differences and irritates to the point of giving me a headache. Ciara is a pleasant fragrance - suitable for any season except for hot weather. It is not a masterpiece, but at least it is pleasant and wearable. I have a recent version, I don't know if it is the original, it has an oriental, spicy, and soft scent despite the oriental notes and spices - maybe there are aroma sticks here. It is long-lasting if applied more than once, a good recent version for vintage wear, but still a matter of personal preference - if you want something pleasant and retro or pleasantly vintage - but wearable, so that people don't recoil or scoff at you, and it doesn't irritate or bother you with a granny's retro vibe - then Ciara is perfect.
