I ordered the Rimmel eyeliner in the shade Brown Velvet. After reading some negative reviews, I was considering canceling my order, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I wasn't sure what the brush would be like or how the quality would compare to previous versions, but I was pleasantly surprised. The product exceeded my expectations and had no flaws.
I have been using this black eyeliner for about 5 years and it has always been great. It applied beautifully, lasted all day, but this time I decided to try the brown shade. It's just terrible. It's almost impossible to draw a precise line with it from the first try. It's watery, diluted, smudges and runs. I am very disappointed((((
The brush is terrible, it lacks a sharp tip!
The brush is awful. You need to go over the eyelid several times just to draw a decent line. I wouldn't even take it for free. What a shame. I am very disappointed.
I bought this as a replacement for my Belarusian one which I had been using for many years. It cost half the price, but the quality is much better. However, this one leaves gaps and has an extremely inconvenient brush that makes lines too thick for my liking. It doesn't sting, the durability is average, but it takes a long time to dry.
The eyeliner is very irritating. I waited for 5 minutes after applying it, but the burning sensation didn't go away. The eyeliner hasn't even dried in that time. I'm very dissatisfied with it.
They have changed the brush. Now the tip is flat, not sharp.
This used to be my favorite eyeliner, but now it is very difficult to use.
It's a pity, I will look for another one.
Terribly inconvenient brush - it smudges the entire eyelid when used with eyeliner.
Probably the best eyeliner I have ever used. Vivienne Sabo's eyeliner used to smudge very quickly, but this one stays on amazingly well. The only downside is the very thin brush, which takes some getting used to.
It will be necessary to apply in 2-3 layers. But here's some good news for people with droopy eyelids - it's quite easy to apply.
I don't understand why it has become a norm to apply eyeliner in 2-3 layers. I have only tried the brown one, not the others. Forget about applying just one layer, it is watery and takes a long time to dry due to layering. I can draw perfect wings with it, unlike a "top" marker tattoo eyeliner that is absolutely terrible, but it takes a lot of time and effort. Once again, I buy something under 100 UAH and end up disappointed.
I didn't buy it here, but I am disappointed. I rarely leave negative reviews. However, this eyeliner is even worse than the regular Eveline or even Quiz. It applies unevenly, with patches, and cracks in the corners right away. I have been drawing winged eyeliner for years, and I have never had such horrible results as with this brush.
I love it. The matte brown shade looks very natural, and the brush is very convenient to use. I find that it works perfectly with this brush. It doesn't irritate my skin, but I'm not allergic. This is already my third purchase, as I have found the perfect one.
The eyes slightly sting. It washes off well, doesn't smudge, and stays on all day. It tends to create a bit of a smudged effect. You may need to reapply it, which is not too difficult even for non-professionals.
I really didn't understand where it was supposed to be long-lasting, as the commentators below say. It spreads very easily. The brush is convenient, only if you plan on creating different and unusual variations of eyeliner, it's not very convenient for regular ones, and it takes longer compared to a thicker brush. Plus, if you accidentally smudge it, you'll have unpleasant sensations in your eyes.
Overall, I should have just gotten the praised Maybelline, which is also cheaper and apparently more long-lasting. This one is not worth its price (for me).
I liked it, it is quite long-lasting and sets well, but also washes off easily. I bought the brown shade.
The slim and long brush is convenient for me, as I have already used a similar one before. The eyeliners come out clear. The eyeliner is well pigmented and does not smudge. However, it does sting a little and may not be suitable for people with allergies.
This product is very irritating to the eyes, even though I have never had an allergy to eyeliners. It washes off quickly.
I ordered the brown one. I liked everything about it.
I have been using it for the second year already, and it shows no signs of drying out. It's a perfect brush. I prefer thin ones because they allow me to adjust the thickness of the eyeliner, and this one is exactly like that.
I bought the brown one. The color is nice, but the consistency is too liquid, watery. It takes a lot of effort to achieve the desired effect. It was not sealed in plastic wrap, and I didn't like that. I will still use it, but I don't recommend it.
I am very satisfied with this eyeliner, it has a soft applicator. It stays on all day without leaving any marks.
I have the brown one. I like it, the color is dark brown and the line comes out neat and easily.
Rimmel is a truly worthy brand with affordable prices. I am well acquainted with their eyeliner, which has been serving me for a long time. It is a convenient and high-quality product, with a brush that applies smoothly. It lasts for a long time, which is great. Many thanks to the makeup department and the Vinnitsa couriers! It's a pleasure to work with you!
The eyeliner is superb. I really like both the texture and the brush. It is convenient for drawing any type of eyeliner.
I am disappointed with this eyeliner... It applies in streaks, unevenly, and the brown color looks more like red. The tip is bent and too hard for a product meant to be used on delicate eye skin. I didn't purchase this eyeliner here.
I really liked this eyeliner. It stays on all day.
It feels too heavy for me, and when applied, it leaves gaps and cracks. It ends up being unused.
+ It stays well and doesn't smudge.
- It applies in streaks with gaps. I have to apply multiple layers to cover it. I won't buy it again.
The brush tip is very thin, and the applicator is convenient and easy to hold.
